Works great (connects 2 buildings) and was easy to setup
This extender does exactly what I need. Let me describe my setup and why I needed to update my extender / bridge. I have two buildings at home: one is our main house, the other is my office/guest house. The distance between the two is 75 feet (garage door to garage door). In the main house I have an Amped Wireless Athena AC2600 wireless router. It has good coverage, but not good enough for my office. In the garage with my office, I installed this ARTEMIS repeater. Both are dual band (2.4Ghz/5Ghz). I really wanted to see if I could extend the 5Ghz link to my office (in the past I had used different extenders that provided 2.4Ghz coverage only). Both the router and extender are attached to the garage door opener in the center of the garage about 10 feet back from the door. All in all the transmission path is: router 10 feet to garage door -> 75 feet across the driveway -> 10 feet from the garage door to the extender. So let's get to what matters most, the results of the extender and my office PCs:** The signal strength of the 2.4 Ghz channel is very good. The speedtest.net results are 20M download, 5.5M upload from the office (pretty good)** The signal strength of the 5.0 Ghz channel is weak (as to be expected) but good enough. The speedtest.net result are 45M download and 5.5M upload. I should mention that the speedtest.net results on the PCs connected to Router's 5Ghz channel in the main house are 60 to 65M download. If you have to extend further, or have more walls or interference you'd likely need special antennas, I think I am at about the limit of the extenders 5Ghz capabilities. Again, this is to be expected with the higher frequency channel, the shorter wavelength simply doesn't propagate as effectively as the 2.4Ghz, but once the connection is established your data rate will be higher.Final comment: I typically simply log into the router/extender and do a manual set up. For some reason I couldn't wirelessly log into the unit (address 192.168.1.240) so I used the embedded setup utility. It ran flawlessly and took 5 minutes, but I'd rather be able to log in and control all features exactly how I want to. I was lazy and didn't try to connect the unit to a PC using an RJ45 cable .....

Great Product!
This product is better than most as far as a wifi extender. My home is not huge and it did bring in the wifi to the farthest end of the home. Not real strong, but strong enough to run Netflix in that room. No other extender has been able to do that and I have tried many. Consistent wifi also. Easy setup and instructions. Expensive, but worth it for me.

Solid company w pretty good products at affordable prices
Second Amped Wireless router I've bought because these provide wired jacks from a wifi source. Not overpriced like Netgear and other major names. And their tech support is better than the big boys. Wifi strength is about 70% of what they claim thou. Buy the strongest one.

Great wireless bridge and front displays very useful displays.
Great wireless bridge. I have it wireless to an AC88U across the house. My layout does not allow me to run Ethernet cable so I use this to bridge to go to Ethernet cable to the NIC card on a server. Along with another Ethernet cable to a laptop in the area that does not support A/C and the wireless on it in general is weak. Only thing I see is that on a lower end Linksys bridge I can shut off transmitting wireless signal out to the world and still use it as a wireless bridge. I did not see that option on this one. Than again I am not really using it as it is designed as an extender too. I like the signal strength indicator on the front panel. And 2.4/5.0 indicator lights. I have 2.4 disabled and put a small USB 3 SSD on it just for kicks.

I did some more research on this useless "Extender" and discovered that it is not a true ...
Now I understand why the device was not working properly, I ordered the Wi-Fi Extender and the Amazon delivered a Wi-Fi Router. I didn't realize it at that time and I didn't know that the Amped had two different products that looked just alike. Even the installation guide inside de box was related to the extender. When I bought it, I was only trying to extend the Wi-Fi signal. The setup according to their guide didn't work, so I connected it directly to a modem, and it worked. What I really did was to swap my existing router to this supposedly "Extender".But after a while, the connection started to be unstable, and had to restart one or two times per day. I did that for months until I get tired with the situation and decided to buy a new Arris Surfboard Wi-Fi device. Now that everything is taken care of, I did some more research on this useless "Extender" and discovered that it is not a true extender... it was a really bad experience with Amazon, with lots of stress and wasted money because now it is too late to return it.

Has been working beautifully with multiple Ring floodlight & computers wirelessly connected to this device.I would Buy it again
Has been working beautifully with multiple Ring floodlight, doorbell and other devices without issue for a 1600+ sq ft. home. Very easy to set up too. I highly recommend this unit and hoping it will last for a few years.Update March 8th 2018 over 5 months later and still working beautifully without any issues. I would buy it again...Update August 25th 2018 and nearly a year later and still going strong with no issues and would most certainly buy it again. It is a true extender...

Mine is probably just faulty.
Out of the box it did not work. The power connection was finicky and I needed to cut off part of the power cord and resplive it together just to get a stable power application. Once I got it powered up the signal strength as great, but I couldn't use it as I intended becaise the network I was repeating requires you login via a splash screen. This device won't repeat that signal allowing to me login from my computer. It wants to be logged into the network in order to repeat it.

Not what I expected
I bought this to replace my older wireless extender (Amped wireless sr10000). My older one I have to reset it often but it still out performs this new one. So I sent it back.
