Halloween 3: Season of the Witch

The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc version of this film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc version when played through a 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range).

Yeah not the best film in series as has nothing to do with the other films, but this film in its own way is something good and different and after a while is a good watch if it has not been seen on a while. I personally like the film but like most prefer the Michael myers ones much more. The transfer on this disc is fantastic native 4k and so sharp and crisp for viewing. The audio is also fantastic and with right set up you'll enjoy it pretty much more. Overall film was enjoyable and as part of collection always good to add it to complete the collection and if you like your 4k then defo puck this up for your collection if halloween fan as this is possibly we will ever get this film looming and sounding. Score 10/10 just for audo and picture not main film.

Watched it track through various places in New York to the uk expecting it to be a bashed up mess when delivered, it was perfect, transfer is amazing from opening credits I smiled.. get it .. massive improvement over previous blu ray versions

Ok let's address the elephant in the room, this is not a "Halloween" film and so like many fans I hated it, but that's down to the studio and marketing selling it that way to earn more, even John himself has said he wasn't happy with the way it was marketed. So as the years have passed I've come to look at the film as just an 80's horror film directed by Carpenter and love it. Yes it's cheesy the plot is ludicrous and it looks a little bit of it's time, but it's when Carpenter was in his prime and come on the "test screening" is up there with is The Thing. Ignore the Halloween tag, switch off your brain and enjoy some quality? horror.

Although nothing to do with Michael Myers this film is of its time but never the less a good watch. Great packaging. Arrived quickly from the US. Very happy!!!

Great movie, should get more credit!

People tend to disregard this film because it doesn't feature Michael Meyers, the antagonist in every other Halloween film. This is a mistake, as the story is wildly unique, and stands head and shoulders above many of its contemporaries. The transfer is fantastic, and would be a great reference quality UHD on any setup.

Perfect

I originally saw this in the cinema on its initial release. What no Micheal Myers? Nope I didn’t like it.I had a dvd copy that came in a three box set when dvds first came out. I rarely watched part 3. The 4 K transfer brings a new life to the movie with intense details in the picture and an immersive soundtrack. This is now one of my favourite Halloween movies.
