Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to install and good brandDurability:Started to leak within 2 weeks of installation. The leakage started within the filter cap and the filter itself. I could not even fix it. Even a plumber could not fix. Waste of money

The product is very useful for filtering the water for washing machine ,which is helpful for cleaning clothes in filtered water. After every 6month or depending on the usage of washing machine the filter has to be changed or else water won’t go at all even after you use, running fine as of now except the filter part since needs cleaning.

Was surprised how big a difference it made to the daily wash. It actually revived the colors on some clothes whole making most much softer after the wash. The refill is expensive, but almost makes up for it's cost. FYI... I'm in Bangalore, dependent on very hard tanker water, so the difference may have been exaggerated.Update: after making the first replacement, the fitting has started to leak. It leaks from the cap at the machine end and no amount of PTFE tape helps. Points to bad design, as the grooves for this cap are very large and sharp and just cut up the PTFE tape when you tighten it.Downgrading to 3 stars.

The last iteration of this product could not handle water pressure at all and kept coming off despite my best efforts. And since I used to blindly trust these chaps I didn’t even bother to check within the return window if the filter actually was faulty or not. Now, Amazon elrefuses to help me out and I am stuck with a faulty 800 buck filter.Extremely disappointed

used for 3 days it started turning brown, i dont see water in the tap as dirty as it has turned brown, by the looks of it doesnt seems it will last for even 1 month.I searched for replacement cartridge i dint find it even in their website, seems like we have to buy the entire set again if this runs out.
