Exactly what I've been looking for
I picked up one of these at Academy Sports and love it. I have a number of CREE adjustable/focusable flashlights, but as an ultra-light backpacker, at just .9 ounces (with battery installed) this is by far the lightest. It also delivers a bright, white light that rivals the 100 lumen CREE's that weigh in around 3 ounces.I believe the 72 lumen rating is probably correct too (though admittedly I have no way to verify). Note, this is not focusable, but it serves my purpose well nonetheless. I use it for camping, hiking, and odd jobs around the house. You must twist the base to turn it on, as opposed to a button, but having read hundreds of reviews here on Amazon about lights with bad buttons, I think this is by far the most foolproof switching mechanism. It has only one mode - high, and that's all I need.Over the years, I've observed a common truth when it comes to flashlights (and many other things for that matter); the simpler the better. You'll find hundreds of flashlights here on Amazon with features galore, from multiple brightness levels, auto-step down, memory switches, SOS signaling, battery level meters and more. The one thing they all have in common is a miniature logic board. Sooner or later, something on that board is going to fail. It's not a matter of "if", but "when". This little light is simple, straight forward, without a logic board -- and it works. Everytime. Ask yourself what's more important when you hear something crashing through the brush into camp at 1AM, a 1,000 lumen light that doubles as a toothbrush, alarm clock and razor (that just failed), or something a little less powerful that actually works.Additionally, the clip is reversed, so you can easily attach to the bill of your cap - a simple feature that I truly appreciate. Fit and finish is very nice, and as you can see in the attached photo, it fits easily into the palm of my hand.Note, as mentioned, I bought this at full price. I'm not a shill for Browning, just a regular guy who loves good gear and happy to give credit where credit is due. Depending on your needs, I'm confident you won't be disappointed with this light.

Fits great clipped on pocket
This is my second one. Hate that I lost the first! Great little work flashlight. Impressively bright for for its small size. I had the first one for over 3 years! I'm an operator at a power plant and this light is handy to not always have to carry around a big bulky flashlight. It does go through the one AAA battery pretty quick but I still get a few days between battery changes with regular use. It fits great clipped in the corner of my pants pocket. Just have to remind yourself that it is there because it can come unclipped and fall out when pulling other things out of your pocket. I think this is how I lost the one I'm replacing. I also have to add that I accidentally washed my previous one a couple times and it still worked. I highly recommend this tiny, durable, easy to carry little flashlight.

Best small flashlight for money
These flashlights work perfectly and are extremely bright for the compact size

Perfect for EDC.
Carry this every day and find myself thankful for it. The Mrs got one as a gift and I quickly commandeered it. She stole it back and bought me another. Thing is the size of a pocket knife. Indestructible (been through the wash twice) and for a AAA battery puts out a helluva lot of light with a long battery life. Great stocking stuffer.

You can't break what isn't there!
I carry this everywhere. (We live off the grid, so a flashlight is my constant companion.) I used to carry a Streamlight Micro-Stream, but the end switches kept breaking. There's no end switch on this, so there's nothing to break! And it's brighter. And the clip is more versatile. It takes a little longer to get it turned on or off, but most of the time that's not really a big deal.My only issue with it is that unscrewing the cap turns it off, but you have to REALLY unscrew it to keep it from coming on in your pocket. I carry it in the change pocket of my jeans, so it gets compressed a lot, and I find that I go through more batteries than I'd like. On the whole, though, it's the best flashlight of its size that I've had.

Works great
There's nothing do dislike about this item besides it easy to loose it

tough light, usable light output
This is a reliable light that fits inside the price point is was designed for. I believe it is an unregulated flashlight - or at least acts like one - but that's a preference argument, not an objective one. For those unfamiliar with the distinction, a regulated flashlight will maintain a more constant brightness level as the battery drops (the negative being less warning and/or usable light right before the battery dies) and an unregulated light will reach and maintain, but not in a linear pattern, its highest brightness level the moment you pop in a new battery (the positive being a longer battery life but through a wider (often less bright) spectrum of brightness throughout the battery life). It's an attractive and easily stowed flashlight, small and light enough to forget you're carrying it in your pocket. The light output and beam focus is best suited for close, such as cooking, and short-medium distances, such as making your way through camp to go to bathroom in the middle of the night.Overall, it's a light that serves its purpose and does the job reliably. I would recommend it for weight/size conscious people or those looking for a well made flashlight that is smaller than their AAA Maglite.

Browning
I have two of these now. The first one is about five years old. Small diameter light and of course, not the brightest light you will find. But if you are mostly working within an area about ten to fifteen feet radius, it lights up everything just fine, like at a campsite, or changing a tire where the user doesn’t want light reflection to become annoying. Some lights are too bright for close-in chores. Also useful for work around the home. Easily attaches to a hat, and can be adjusted to turn on momentarily while squeezing the light casing or battery cover against the bill of your cap.
