CERASHARP 4" Ceramic Paring Knife & Peeler Set - Superior Blade Strength & Cutting Performance, Garden, Lawn, Maintenance

I purchased this for my dad as a birthday gift and he loved it. Call us crazy (or perhaps lame), but someone grabbed a cucumber after he opened this gift and we all took turns peeling and slicing a bit of it. What can I say, we love our kitchen gadgets. I had been a bit skeptical because of the cheap and flimsy packaging the items came in, but that was two months ago, and with daily use the knife is still just as sharp, so sharp in fact that it's easy to cut yourself. The only reason I have this product four stars instead of five is because of the peeler; it's just as sharp as the knife, but it can be a bit awkward to hold and sometimes the peels accumulate and get stuck behind the peeling blade. Truth be told, the purchase is worth it just for the knife; the peeler is simply an added bonus.

-Shipment was received faster than estimated so that is a big plus-The knife is extremely sharp!-The knife has solid build and seems to be made well with good handle-The peeler would benefit from being made from same sturdy plastic the knife handle is made out of-The peeler is extremely sharp and works well, nothing too amazing but it definitely gets the job done-again the peeler's handle is a bit more flimsy than the knife but i wouldn't say that it is poorly made, more of a poor choice of plastic- overall the knife is worth the price of both! the peeler is a good peeler and is serviceable, much sharper than a standard peeler and in design will keep you from cutting yourself.

Very good knife. Very sharp, but it has the faults every ceramic knife has. It feels very light and doesn't look like a 'real' knife. While I don't have kids in the house, I would be very nervous if I did. It looks like a plastic play knife.The peeler works very well, but the plastic handle is a little too flexible and the cutting blade has a tendency to pop out. Easily popped back in.

I had bought this for my husband for Christmas to be added to a cheese set. He had taken my set downstairs to a new kitchen we added to our home. I had previously purchased a ceramic knife and learned it stayed very sharp over time as advertised. But it doesn't have a sheath and it's too long to put in my lunch box to cut up apples. So, i used this knife.i love the sheath! Small enough for my lunch box and very sharp. Sorry husband, you keep the old stuff! As far as the other tool I haven't used it yet so I really can't review. I really bought this set with my eye on the knife. Great knife!

This knife was not sharp. I am using it in the morning to put butter on my waffle and to cut the waffle. I can cut my apple with it but barely. On the other hand, I love the potato peeler! It was worth buying to get that. I would buy it again for the peeler.

I use this knife for road trips to make salad or sandwiches. It's stayed sharp and doesn't corrode in the cooler (I keep it in the cooler with the food so it stays clean) my stainless paring knife started to get rusty after sitting in the ice for extended trips. I would not hesitate to reorder this should the need arise.

This paring knife is jut what I wanted. I have several stainless steel knives but they are beginning to loose their sharpness. I am confident this will stay sharp. I have another ceramic knife, and other than the shape of the knife which makes impractical as a paring knife, I really like it.

Knife seems not to be strong enaught. Excellent customer service.
