Who in the World Was the Acrobatic Empress?: The Story of Theodora

My 9 year old enjoyed this book and is looking forward to writing a paper on Theodora!

We bought this for my child's homeschool, to go with her history unit. The story is well done and engaging. My daughter loved it. I have a bit of a problem, however, with how short the story is (we read it in 25 minutes). The book is very thin and the print is large, making it a perfect starter chapter book. I have other novels that are 2-300 pages and cost $7, so I'd hardly say this book is worth the money. There are a few black and white illustrations, which are well done too, but are not something that would justify the cost. I'd recommend getting from the library as I think this is totally overpriced.
