I bought these for my kids. They work well, stain teeth and show where they need to brush. I tried one to demonstrate how to use them for my kids and the taste is bad, but my kids don't seem to mind it. It does stain the toothbrush but that's not a big deal. It is easy to clean off the sink and does not permanently stain fabric

Definitely allows you to see where the plaque is. A few cons are it has a bitter taste and it stains your mouth a vivid purple that last for hours. I suggest only using at night.

I tried it first with one of my kids, taking one tablet each as recommended. The amount of coloring seemed quite strong and required a lot more brushing than expected to remove the coloring. My wife and other child went next and shared one tablet, and that was sufficient. I would suggest using less than a full tablet. Otherwise, it works as expected and had no problems with the taste.

*Do not recommend.* Sure, it colors your teeth so you can scrub it off. But it stains everything else including your tooth brush and the amount of talcom powder exposure, because it's aim is children, who WILL swallow some, which is poisonous, is not worth it. Ashamed I didn't see that ingredient sooner when our dentist recommended it. Well SHE will be hearing about it next time I see her...

This product will stain your tongue,your toothbrush, your sink and your lips. I recommend keeping your water running like the instructions say. I tried this before letting my child use them. It will taste bad and leave a bad taste in your mouth. This is after rinsing my mouth several times with water and then with mouth wash. It does what it is supposed to do. Make sure you floss to get any plaque from between your teeth. I do not recommend using it just before leaving your house but use it and leave in a few hours. Maybe that will give you time to get rid of the bad taste but not sure if about your tongue color being normal color.

They seem to work effectively to show plaque that’s left after brushing, and train kids to learn which areas they need to brush better.The berry taste was overall fine for most of our family but one child didn’t like it much. The seller’s customer service was awesome as they helped us try the other flavor which he did like. We were very appreciative of their support.

I bought these for my son to see what parts he is missing when brushing. They definitely show where he misses. I will say it turns your entire mouth purple so do not use if you are going anywhere afterwards.

My daughter was struggling to brush her teeth well - she had loose teeth that she refused to pull out and she wasn't brushing well around those areas. I had her use one of these tablets - she thought it was gross (I knew it wouldn't taste great). But I told her it's so she can see all the spots she's missing. Well it stained her teeth pink alright, and she had a really hard time getting all the pink off even after brushing for several minutes. She did get the areas she normally doesn't get well, but her teeth still had a pink tint when she was done. I don't know if we'll use them again or not. I did see the warnings about staining the sink so I made sure I cleaned up right away after she was done and that was fine.
