Almond Marzipan with Burnt Sugar Finish

I was a bit iffy about the price; after all, you can get much cheaper candy from the store. ..... But my God, is it ever worth it! This thing tastes soooo good it's like a piece of heaven. It's been less than two weeks and I'm about to order my third and forth bar. Delicious!

If you're in to marzipan (which I am), then this stuff is for you. I was expecting a crunchy coating from the description, but it's more of a burnt sugar syrup. Which is lovely, by the way. Would buy again!

Delicious. Brings back memories of visiting Girona in Spain, where such marzipan was commonly found in candy stores in Olot.
