Want to leave zero stars because of the cable housing, but the actual dropper is great
I hate the cable housing that came with this. I appreciate that it is high quality braided steel on the inside and I'm convinced it will never ever fail, but you have to basically harness the power of the sun to cut the bloody vibranium steel line they used to manufacture this cable at goddam Tony Stark World. I broke my cable cutters on the first attempt- bought new ones rated to well above this type- marred the blades of that cutter- had to end up using an angle grinder with a cut off wheel... Are you serious... unnecessary.BUT, the actual dropper post functions nicely and it was a good price. Once I cut the stupid cable I had the whole setup installed in about 5 minutes.

Good value, high quality product
I have not owned a dropper post before but was impressed by the idea and chose the Ridge after a lot of research. I'm at the budget end of the sport so the price was important but also the great reports about PNW and the locality (I live in Washington State) swayed me.Delivery was prompt and the packaging is good, a small cardboard insert around the seatclamp would be a good idea though as there was box damage there from the post moving in transit.Installation was a breeze considering I've ridden and worked on bikes for thirty years. Didn't even have to trim the cable outer for my large Mason 1. The post works like a dream, really smooth actuation although the basic lever supplied can need adjustment. Just make sure the cable is pulled through really tight before clamping....My only concern is there is a very small amount of play in the post, maybe 1mm, when extended. I'm not sure if this is meant to happen.Overall I'm very happy with the post, I can see how it will help on technical trails, I will try and add an update after I've ridden it a while.

Amazing Dropper, Incredible customer service
This was my first time purchasing a dropper post, it was the only thing my bike was lacking on my cannondale trail. I have always kept my post pretty low because most of the trails I ride are downhill with short climbs. This is a complete game changer seat all the way down and out of the way helps get your body weight back for the steep stuff and then once you get to an uphill or a fire road within one second your post is exactly where you want it. I was on the fence for a while thinking I could spend the money on other upgrades but don’t be a fool just buy it and see

Remote...meh, decent dropper though.
Came nicely packaged and ready to go. After some quick reading how to install their Rainier dropper I was able to get it installed. The dropper itself is wonderful, feels solid and returns quick enough for my use of trail riding. The remote leaves alot to be desired. It works, but mine squeaks a little and takes a bit more effort to actually actuate. I might swap that out down the road but I went this route to save some cash since I've never ridden with a dropper. So far it changes your perspective for hitting some elements and features. If I could do it over I think I'd get the Rainier for the dropper and additional travel.

Does what it is supposed to do.
I've had this dropper for almost a month now.Comes with everything you need to install. Had more than enough cabling for my small frame with mostly external routing. All pieces felt very well made and the seat stay screws came with loctite pre-applied. Install and functionality are great. Goes down quickly when I need it to, and comes back up when I wanted to get on the seat and pedal again. The handlebar mounted thumb control has a nice tactile feedback when activated. My only complaint being that the post has a little bit of wiggle when fully extended. I thought the cause was the seat stay or post clamp not being tight enough, but that wasn't the case. Its nothing major and I don't even notice it when I'm pedaling. Just something to be mindful of as loose tolerances do not get better as the product ages. At this price point, it's hardly a complaint.

Great Value
I got this for my wife because I needed a 125mm dropper with a shorter overall length. Not quite as nice as my PNW Bachelor dropper but for the price it's pretty good. They didn't have the instructions for this particular dropper on their website but I was able to leverage the instructions for one of their other droppers.

Makes riding the down hills so much more controlled!
First time using a dropper post, PNW is ahead of the game, I could not go back to a regular seat post again !!! I installed it myself, and no issues, the lever for the ridge is amazing people complain about it but I’ve had no issues and it works perfectly. The people who complain probably didn’t install it right . Two thumbs up to PNW for making an affordable dropper post that works perfectly, Lever and all.

Great product - super easy to install
This drop post is a great value!(bad) - no online directions for this version. I had to figure it out - but that took literally 5 minutes(good) - reliable, quick acting, super easy to install, and best of all - it allows me to put my seat at any height within the min and max range of the post.If it breaks - I will gladly replace it with the exact same one!
