I ordered this Himalayan pink salt lamp and wasn't sure how is it going to turn out.Shipping:Surprisingly it arrived in a day. The packaging was impressive. Machine plastic wrapped Salt lamp made sure it was in one piece without any scrapes. It came with a separate box with wire and bulb, and an EXTRA bulb!!Construction:This is a solid piece. Heavy duty and really heavy. There is no assembly needed. Just install the bulb in the holder and pop the bulb holder inside and you are good to go. Very cool that it has a dimmer on the wire so you can adjust the lighting per your mood.Lighting:The light is super soft and soul touching. Just the right amount of pink alongwith what you would expect from a high quality product. Check out the images sitting on my mirrored side table.Summary:Highly recommended. Would buy again.

I ordered a salt lamp for my granddaughter for Christmas. I received it damaged. I sent it back and was sent a replacement. It arrived damaged. I sent it back and asked for a refund. The salt lamp itself was fine but the light bulb and cable was damaged on both lamps

I have started using Himalayan salt lamps all over my apartment in place of regular lamps in the evening ever since I tried a couple of small ones and noticed my allergies seemed to get better when they were in use. This one is a little darker in color than another large one I have, and it fairly bright. It also seems to get a little warmer when on than my other one, so that may be something to keep in mind with placement (although not hot). There were very few chips of any kind or dust off of it in the package even being delivered in hot weather. It is easy to dim or brighten it with the switch. You put the lightbulb in yourself through the bottom, so that can be easily replaced with the bulb goes out.

This is a quite heavy salt stone with a 25 watt bulb in the middle. The stone sits on top of a round wood pedestal. It gives off a very pleasant glow and when on for some time gets quite warm to the touch. It is very pleasant on the eye and I find it hard to look away from.

This lamp was shipped in very timely manners, nicely packed. I love this lamp. Its a perfect size and produces the most calming ambient light for my room. For sure worth the price for this lamp. I am pleased with the quality of this lamp; its shape and the natural look. I am extremely satisfy with my purchase.

The item arrived damaged, both the Amazon box and lamp box were wide open! Not happy at all!!

It's a big chunk of pink Himalayan salt, alright.While I won't comment on any health benefits that might be available from having it set up, I do like the way light comes through the salt. It's a very interesting pattern. While not bright enough to be a real light, it's great for use as an accent in the living room. It has also been used as a night light. With its subdued light level and soft colour, it works well to provide enough light to not trip over things left lying around by the pup, and at the same time, the colour of the light is much like that used on phones to not stimulate the brain before bed. We put it on a TPLink mini smart plug so that it comes on per the schedule we've set up.The chunk is rough, not like the image that's shown here by the seller. It looks like someone hammered off a piece of salt, drilled a hole in the bottom for the bulb and then screwed on the base. There is no finishing to the outside at all. It looks ok, but the appearance would be enhanced if it was smoothed out and polished. I may have a go at this and see what kind of a sheen I can get. I've seen others that were finished, and the striations in the salt were much more appealing when the light shines through them.The base is pretty much the same as we have on the other two Himalayan salt lights. It's a round piece of wood with some shellac on it. The cable is long enough for our purpose.It's pretty much as advertised at 10 inches tall when I include the base.
