I think this pearl set is wonderful. I gave it to my wife for our wedding anniversary. I am really glad pearls don't have feelings, because my wife was completely ungrateful. Wonderful pearls, and I hope for those of you who purchase them, that you have somebody just as wonderful to wear them.

I deducted one star for each of the following reasons. 1) the pearls were smaller than expected based on size guide at a local jewelry store,2) the necklace did not hang in a graceful curve which made them look defective or cheap in my eyes, and 3) the gift box was broken at the corner. I returned this set.Update: Pearl Source contacted me. They suggested uneven hanging would have worked itself out upon wearing them. I don't know as I had already purchased the larger 8-9mm AAAA pearls that hung beautifully and rate 5 stars for luster, size, etc. Both sets I purchased had defective boxes. If this happens to you Pearl Source wants you to call them and they will make this right.

Great pearls for a very reasonable price. I bought two sets; one with white gold clasps and one with yellow gold clasps for every day wear. The silk thread is double knotted and the pearls look luscious for the price. Not each necklace is created the same as one necklace has three more pearls (yes, I counted them) than the other. The silk thread was very tight when first worn but loosing a little after a while giving a more relaxed look to the necklace. One of the knots came undone and The Pearl Source/Amazon replaced the set the very same day. No questions asked. Great service.My only issue is with the clasps. They are difficult to use. I would think an older person would have a very difficulty time utting on the necklace and especially the bracelet with using only one hand. When it comes time to restring the pearls I will change the clasps.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. The necklace and pearls were nice. However, some of the details detracted from my experience with this product. First it was missing the guarantee certificate that is listed in the description and shown in the pictures. The jewelry box was falling apart, and it clearly has never had any glue. It was too close to valentine's day to return it, so I had to scramble to purchase another box, and give her an IOU for the certificate of authenticity (which I don't think she cared about all that much) but for me, I wanted to present her with something nice, and these details made it stressful.

These pearls are absolutely beautiful! I was looking to upgrade a strand that my grandfather had given me as a teenager and this set is stunning! The luster on these are very high and they truly are round pearls. I was so delighted when I opened the lovely blue box they came in and saw how great quality this set is. I had ordered a couple of pearl pieces from JTV to be horrified at the extremely poor quality and immediately sent them back (in which they keep all shipping charges, ugh!) in order to try this brand and I am so happy I did! They are very pretty and a set that every woman should have.
