ShoyeidoHaku Un White Cloud, 35 CT

Just to clarify bad reviews calling fake. This is not fake and it be so nice if people did not be so easy to call fake for so many products just because of package changes or anything of that nature. Shoyeido has two White Cloud, period. They are supposed to be the same but have a slight difference. One is this small bundle long sticks that is geared towards US market and has a brown color. There is also one that is sold in other parts of world, including shops in US whom order direct, that are greyish blue color sticks that some are calling slate color. Those sticks, besides their large boxed bundles, are packages in a small round paper bound bundle with same color printing. Same weight as this one but with round package, shorter sticks of different color. I own both and yes they are two different batches and colors. Both are White Cloud just a slight tweak in ingredients. They smell very similar depending on your nose and both are good. Some people like the brown stick and some like the greyish sticks. You can find the round bundled or large boxed grey sticks in shops who order directly from Shoyeido. It may be a choice for shops or maybe the choice is not mentioned. None the less these are legit White Cloud sticks just a slight difference in marketing for reasons I'm not aware. It wouldn't make sense Shoyeido themselves selling copy incense would it. They are a Seller here and is where mine came from, brown sticks. I find the two to be a toss up. My daughter likes the grey sticks better and I tend to like these brown sticks. The biggest thing I notice is these are stronger than greyish sticks. Maybe a little more clove and patchouli. Good luck

Simply fantastic. White Cloud is like the cool older brother all the other kids try to be. Although perhaps it is a bit pricey. These were my go-to for part of my bedtime ritual. Sweet, foresty aloeswood with a creamy overtone. The reason for the step up in price compared to their other dailies is easily noticeable when burned, it's definitely higher quality than the others in daily line. Plan to purchase more of these bad boys.

Agarwood and Kyara seem to have a very potent bitterness to them. Their scents may be an acquired taste. White Cloud has Agarwood which gives it a bitter smell.I think it's personal preference, because I like the sweeter scents like Moss Garden (good balance of sweet + woody), River Path (quite sweet), and Amethyst (complex and very enjoyable sweet). I also like the clean scents without being overpoweringly bitter such as Diamond, Emerald, and Golden Pavilion (this one has the right amount of woody, clean, and sweet with a slight bite).

I’ve been surprised by the quality of other shoyeido daily incense so I had high expectations for this one. The scent is sort of vague and metallic. People say it has agar but mmmm idk.

The sent is smooth, not too sweet, not dull, nor too strong.

This is the most expensive incense I have ever used and I love the scent.Will buy again and again

They aren't bad, but they do smell a bit generic to me. It smells great in the box. However, when you burn them, smokiness comes through a lot in the scent. And the scent is so light/weak, I have to burn 4 or 5 at the same time. This has also been the case with other incense from this brand. When it comes to incense, I think everyone will have their own taste. This just wasn't mine. I would recommend checking out Palo Santo by HEM.

This is one of my favorite scents. The value is also great. You get a decent amount of Oud Wood in here and that is a very expensive scent. I love anything Oud lol. I highly recommend this incense

Very nice for me. Could be too subtle for those wanting a pungent perfumed stick.
