The on/off switch was very fragile. I say was, past tense because I broke it. A blessing to have ordered a set of 2, because I had a back up. Fits perfectly and is working great so far in the antique Chronos Chess Clock my late brother and his son used at tournaments all over the west coast. Just be careful of that switch.

As the quality of those pesky for leaking alkaline cells continues to erode this is a quick and easy replacement for a holder with corroded contacts. The housing material plastic is compatible with the ( not included) self adhesive velcro which assists with creative positioning if needed.

The package included two features I had not noticed before: an on/off pushbutton switch on the case and adapters for AAA-sized batteries. What a nice surprise! The case feels sturdy and snugs tightly together. The screws tighten up firmly into actual, metal nuts. Even so, I appreciate the honesty in the description "water resistant", as the case does not have a resilient gasket or seal. Looks good to me for dry conditions where an occasional splash might happen, like beside a potted plant. However, probably not for the garden where it rains.

Works for what i needed but the wires tin? Copper would have been better. Would buy agsin if i cant find a better version.

Just as described. I really didn't like that it said if I bought within 2 hrs I would get it tomorrow, so I decided to order it to repair a Halloween mask for a party the next night. It showed up two days later. If you can't deliver it within the specified day you tell me don't offer it.

This Christmas when I went to put up our lighted wreaths outside on our front doors, they would not work! Found out too late we had left the batteries in them and they leaked out their acid, ruining the waterproof battery boxes. After doing a quick search on Amazon, I found these and immediately purchased them. Installed they worked like a charm right from the get go and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Amazon for having such niche products available!

Ordered 7 two-packs of JSH-PH holders. All seven had the same label, with the same part number and bar code and said "JST-PH", but four of the packs, when I opened them, had a different kind of plug I cannot use. Several of the ones with the correct plug had loose connections that broke the first time I used them. In the attached photo, you can see an example of each.

did not function properly only every second light on the light string worked. Purchased another brand and all worked well
