no where did it say that these were coming from the USA- so not compatible for use in the UK. They took my money in GBP so was none the wiser. Avoid this seller. Awaiting my returns labels and will send back as soon as i receive them.

Small but powerful, very effective unit that you can basically put and move anywhere.Been through multiple winters with it and it gets the job done.Tough and durable, very quiet and safe/reliable.

The living room area (semi-open floor plan including kitchen and dining) in our split level has always been so cold in the winter that we hardly used it. Our HVAC needs an expensive overhaul, so that isn't going to happen any time in the near future. This space heater was the perfect solution. It does a great job of keeping the entire space comfortable and now we all spend time together there.The important stuff:1. The heater is relatively quiet. You can hear it, but it is just quiet background noise. You don't need to speak louder and we don't need to turn up the TV volume.2. The heater does a good job of maintaining a set temperature automatically. It will shut off at temperature and only turn on as needed to maintain the setting. It will initially kick in with higher heat and faster fan speed (still quiet) and then adjust both downward as the space warms.3. The heater housing remains cool to the touch. The manual controls on the front of the heater are also room temperature even when the heat is blasting. I've never needed to use them other than turning it on the first time, so I had to make a point of checking this.4. I have not really tested the safety features, but the heater is low to the floor, reasonably heavy, and on casters that don't roll w/o effort if placed on carpet. You would really have to manhandle this thing to get it to tip over. A casual bump or accidental shove will do no harm. It would move on the casters before it would tip over. There is a bit of clearance between the bottom of the unit and the carpet and the bottom of the unit doesn't get hot.5. We've had it running in automatic/temp mode for a couple of months during a very cold spell and I have not noticed any substantive change in our electric bill.6. The power cord is long enough that you should be able to reach an outlet and keep the heater out of the way regardless of your room configuration. The overall size of the heater is also small enough that it should not be very noticeable. Ours sits between an end table and a decorative floor lamp at one end of a sofa between the living and dining areas. You can see that it is there, but it does not look out of place and it doesn't jump out and scream 'look at the space heater!'.7. It is very easy to use. The remote works fine and seems to have pretty good range. Once we turned it on and set it at a comfortable temperature, we haven't really touched it. If you need to mess with it you can, and it is easy, but this is completely unnecessary in my opinion. I played with the remote once or twice just because, but that's all. Set and forget.8. Finish on the cabinet seems pretty durable. We haven't spilled anything on it (yet), but it is easy to clean and seems to tolerate typical cleaning products w/o issue. I'd treat it like any piece of finished wood like a coffee table or dining room table. If you place it out of the traffic areas, spills probably won't happen and a periodic dusting or wipe down is all you'd need to do.Summary: I wish we had gotten this sooner. It is safe, quiet, does a great job, and isn't ugly. Running in automatic mode has not impacted our electric bill. If I needed another, I would buy this again. If you are looking for a space heater for anything other than a shop space, I definitely recommend it. I suspect this would be fine in a shop environment, but I'd probably choose something built specifically for that purpose.

Debo aclarar que fue enviado en tiempo record a Mexico DF (2 días hábiles) y definitivamente está por encima de mis expectativas. Abajo explico lo bueno, lo malo, y mi conclusion.** Lo bueno **-Muy rápido para calentar habitaciones grandes, justo luego de encenderlo se puede empezar a sentir calor, pero debes estar frente a él-Muy silencioso, realmente no se siente, ideal si lo quieres usar mientras te quedas dormido o si eres muy sensible-La estructura es muy sólido, el acabado es en madera, y realmente es muy robusto y elegante, ademas que las ruedas hacen facil su transporte de un lugar a otro-No reseca el aire, esta fue la principal razon de comprarlo, pues con niños en casa para evitar problemas respiratorios era un punto relevante. luego de usarlo puedo decir que el cambio en el aire es imperceptible, ni en la piel, ni en los ojos, tampoco en las vias respiratorias.** Lo Malo **-La temperatura no se muestra en grados Celcius, otros calefactores puedes cambiarles la escala para mostrarlo en F o en C, este no-Las rejillas se calientan bastante, si tienes niños en casa, debes tener cuidado que no toquen las rejillas mientras esta en operación** En conclusion **Definitivamente lo volveria a comprar y lo recomiendo, luego de un mes de uso siento que ha sido la mejor opcion posible, antes tuve algunos ceramicos, de aceite, etc. pero este ha sido el mejor de todos por desempeño, en especial en habitaciones amplias (en mi caso de 40 metros cuadrados), su sistema hibrido que no reseca el ambiente, es fabuloso, la funcion de termostato y timer son realmente utiles, la solidez en su acabado, sumado a los componentes de seguridad lo hacen es un gran producto.

pratico y calienta muy bien la habitacion y ayuda a pasar mas calido el hnabiente
