Losing an inch with one choke will add almost an ounce to the total bat weight on my scale. Obviously the weight distribution of the bat will make a difference if it’s much of a factor. It’s durable and goes on and off easy enough. I like the product just something I didn’t originally consider.

I bought a couple of these a couple years ago to help my daughter swing bigger bats. Just bought two more as we have a large collection of bats that we share with her team.

Takes me back to the home run chase between Mark and Sammy with a mix of the sweet sweet swing of Griffy Jr. Bought it for my son and was a night and day difference in his swing. He isn't the biggest kid and only 8 moving from the T-ball sized bats to the big barrel wasn't going smoothly so I got this to help him choke up some. I wouldn't say he's crushing 500ft bombs but size to hit ratio would be dang close. He plays select ball and this transformed his swing 10 fold.

Little difficult to put on but works great

I recently purchased Grip-n-Rip Knob Stacker for my son's baseball bat, which he loves. The knob fits securely on the bat. My son says it has improved his grip on the bat and has given him more control and power when hitting. The knob is durable and has held up well through many practices and games. I have an 8 year old who tends to choke up on his bat. However he doesn't consistently choke up to the same spot every time. You can place this device as high or low up on the bat as you want and it gives them a place to put their hands so it's the same every time they grab the bat.Also, if you child complains that a ball of the end of the bat or too close to the hands give him bat sting. This helps a lot in the fact that it is soft-ish and rubbery. So it takes some sting out of a mishit vs having their pinky up against the metal knob of the bat.

We buy our kids’ bats a little long so they can grow into them. We use two of these for my younger son and one for my younger son. These are great to force them to choke up. The boys say they are comfortable on the grip

For a very reasonable price, this Grip-n-Rip spacer provides exactly what my son was hoping. It’s tough rubber composition allows the batter’s lower hand to tuck securely to the spacer, almost the same as it would against the bat knob only with a one inch choke up. It is very durable and comfortable to use as well.Installation onto the bat was a bit of a pain because it has to go over the bat; I used a little dish soap to help it slide but even with that it took some time and effort. Cannot say yet, but removing it will probably also be a pain. No big deal, since once in place, this spacer is doing what we hoped. I attached a photo of the spacer on my 12 year old son’s bat during an at bat (that resulted in a hit). Good luck.
