Light weight
The material reminds me of a shower curtain which is probably why my bike is always dry when it rains. I park my motorcycle out side year round and so far it's done good from late fall to now early spring.

Not waterproof by any measure.
It's very lightweight, inexpensive, easy to take on/off and store. However, zero water protection. If you want to protect from rain, spring for something high quality.

Exceeds expectations!
What a fabulous purchase this turned out to be! An amazing product that's been a beast at protecting my kid's motorcycle in extreme wind storms and super heavy, sustained rainfall. For the affordable price, I didn't expect too much from this cover, but it has impressed us tremendously during our southern California desert winter climate. We HIGHLY recommend this excellent protective cover!
