Fits perfectly and does what it says. I am using it in the input line of my pump from my reservoir tank to keep sand and rust away. once fitted you can clean the filter by simply opening the valve while in operation to flush out the sediment and dirt. You can also fix it just anywhere in the supply or delivery line as it does not affects the overall pressure. The spin technology works perfectly. Always measure perfectly before cutting the pipe. Also cut the pipe straight and then sand properly to smooth rough edges. Most 'important' is the end valve for cleaning. Never fix it full tight as then the valve will break. Leave 2/3 treads on the end.
