MARASTAR Tires 20x8.00

These tires grip extremely well. As someone who has used Reapers (also a very good tire). The Marastar tires work very well in the mud and sheds the mud from the tires quickly. For that, I give the Marastars the nod over the Reapers. I use my riding mower on a very hilly farm and is also used for trail maintenance. Which means pulling heavy trailers up hills under slippery conditions. Traction under these conditions is amazing. I've even been able to cross a small creek on our property. With turf tires, I would instantly get stuck in this creek. The 4 ply holds up well to the thorns and briers. A chevron pattern in the middle and turf tread on the ends makes for a great all around tire. The only time the tire leaves an impression in the grass is if its very wet. The only thing I wish was you could get the wheels in implement gray. I painted my wheels to match the mower, because yellow on orange would be absolutely hideous. Painting was easy. Just deflate the tire, remove the stem, prep, mask and paint. Wait a couple of days and assemble.

I bought these because I was struggling to find decent chains for the factory turf tires. As you can see they are way beefier then stock. They give triple traction compared to factory. I have only used them on snow and ice. Snow great traction and snow removal from tires. Ice.. well they try and only slip 1/3 the time as turf tires. I was using them on a john deere with front 44" snowblower. Factory tire would spin and get stuck every 5 feet. Same path on these make it 60ft. NOTE: if ordering chains must go up a size, i just built my own. The design pattern is what you want for a dual purpose tire. Overall with install being soo simple, and they seem to be a quality tire. I am satisfied and would recommend. Mounted on 2020 john deere e120.

Good Traction on Inclines I am happy with this purchase. The tread design offers a noticeable improvement when mowing on an incline. My old rear tires tended to slip on slopes, but these grip the turf securely and handle the hills without spinning or sliding. Convenient Setup Having the tires arrive pre-mounted on the wheel assemblies saves the hassle of fighting with tire spoons or taking them to a local tire shop. They swapped right onto the axles with no real alignment issues. Proven Long-Term Durability I bought these because my other Marastar front tires are currently going on 8 years of use and are still holding up great. Based on how long those fronts have lasted, as long as they didn't change the composition of the rubber...I expect these rear wheels to handle regular lawn work for a long time. Final Verdict This is a straightforward, reliable replacement kit from a brand that lasts. If you have slopes in your yard and want a steady, long-term wheel swap, these do a solid job. These are not the cheapest, but they were an upgrade from OEM traction.

I am absolutely in love with these tires, haven't actually got them on yet but they are very nice looking, love the tread pattern, they are quite a bit bigger then the same size tire in a turf tread, so just make sure you have enough room for them to fit, I'm not sure if they will fit on my tractor with the mower deck on, but I know they will fit perfect with my blade or snowblower on
