Just found this author and am in love with the Tin Star K9 series. The twist and turns had me guessing til the end. Just the way I like it!!!

Couldn't finish this book, the further I read and the more improbable the story line became. I doubt many father's would appreciate their obnoxious young daughter completely taking over or putting herself and her brother in an even more difficult situation,surely it was up to him to engage an attorney for his son and not his pushy off spring 🙄😒

A good start to a new series, but hasn’t blown me away like the FBI – K9 series.The story is predictable, and the characters are not as well rounded as in Jodi’s previous books, however they are still interesting and engaging; and the twists and turns by which the crime is solved are still good.The main protagonist Katie is a bit immature and Colt, her love interest is sweet and gentlemanly, and Renegade, the K9, is the star of the show – then again what else would he be?One thing I have enjoyed with all of Jodi’s books is that the characters of the next story are introduced by way of a relationship or involvement with the characters of the current book.I liked the story, though it lacked the depth of the previous series, but am still looking forward to the next one and hope that Katie will have matured a bit more.The narrator Joyce Oben was lovely to listen to and enhanced the experience.I received this book in audio book format from the author and am leaving this review of my own volition.

It's a brilliant book as I couldn't put it down as the twists and turns makes it even more interesting. I never thought I'd enjoy it as I did and look forward to the next in the series.

This was a new author for me which I tried on Kindle Unlimited and I am really glad I did!I am not sure who I liked best Caitlyn, Colt or Renegade...they are all fantastic characters who pull you in before stealing your heart. They find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation that is sabotaged, plagued with corruption and surrounded by mystery and dark secrets. It is well written with a number of plot twists, diversions and unexpected revelations.I am looking forward to more from this crime fighting trio in book two which I am downloading now, also available on Kindle Unlimited.
