The New Walmart

I bought this book in preperation for a term paper. I found it very informative. It outlines the changes Walmart has made in the last few years and how these changes have impacted the company and its stakeholders. It also compared where Walmart came from, its growth and where it is headed. It mostly relates to Walmart US, but there is some information about how Walmart International will be key to the companies future. The two biggest points for me were that it was a fairly balanced view of both the good and bad of walmart, and it is one of the most current books on walmart out there. I would recommend this to anyone who knows a little about walmarts history and is interested in how the company expect to be competative in the future.
