The factory starter for an S2000 is pushing $700 and it is like a four hour job to change it along with much swearing and considerable blood loss so my primary concern was quality. This remanufactured starter is rebuilt by the original manufacturer Denso, so I was pretty confident it would be good and it was. Everything matched up and it has started flawlessly all summer.

Fit and finish was perfect, my 2006 S2000 starts up like new now, quality product at a great price and shipping was fast!

I bought this starter for a 2006 honda s2000. The only pain was the actual install (have to remove the alternator and some brackets to make room). Only difference between the old and new was a notch on washer on the "front" side that did not exist on the new starter. Simply cutting it off of the washer worked and it fit right in. If you're not mechanically inclined; take it to a shop for install. Otherwise, just take your time and it will work. Car starts like it's brand new now. Product came in a denso box.
