The first game sent didn’t work. My return item was sent promptly. My son is 5 and the game has lasted for well over 7 months now without a problem. The screen is a little small and the battery usage is a little high but for the price it is unbeatable. He uses it for his bus ride to school and considering I know there are three other children who passes it around- it is very sturdy. Well worth it’s price and cheap enough that if it gets broke a replacement is worth it!

We don't let our kiddos go online so this was a perfect option for individual electronic fun. The price was very reasonable, the batteries last a good while and the games are enjoyable for 7-14 yr Olds.

It's good for the money. My 6 year old love it. There are a couple of downsides. 1. It takes batteries. I really wish it was rechargeable. We go through batteries so quickly its crazy. 2. It's so small and compact that I just know it's going to get lost. 3. The games that are on here are games that no one has ever heard of. 4. The screen is so small that my 6 year old can barely see it, he doesn't wear glasses.I would say that if you are an adult, this is not for you. But if it is for a child and looking for an inexpensive gift that its easy to travel with and will keep there attention for some time, I would say that this is a good buy. You be the judge...

This is really a great throwaway device for the money. You can throw it in a purse or a backpack and you won’t feel too bad if it gets broken after a few weeks. But, it’s actually quite rugged (cheap plastic screens are actually good for this!) and it might last you a good long while, even if you’re rough with it.It’s a closed system, meaning you can’t add your own roms to it easily (if at all).The surgery I mentioned is due to the d-pad. It is the worst d-pad I have ever used in my life. I don’t think any one with human-shaped hands can think this d-pad is good. The “bumps” on each direction make it very painful to use, in any direction. I literally felt pain in my fingers off of the very first press of the d-pad. I never got used to it and I could not use the device at all.Thankfully, it is easy to fix. I was worried that the d-pad might be hollow (to save on costs), but it is solid throughout. You can take a box-cutter, scalpel, or any sharp knife and just slice the bumps right off! The closer you are to getting all of the “bump” with a single stroke, the better, but even with my mistakes I was able to trim and fix all four directions. It becomes perfectly usable and completely comfortable as soon as you take those silly bumps off!The a & b buttons are oddly positioned (above each other; has anyone at this company ever seen or used a handheld device before?) but they are ok for the simplicity of the games on the device.

Our kids love these things. We have 3 now. They are great in the car or just as an alternative to TV or iPads. Tons of games to choose from, and simply enough our 5 year old up to our 10 year old play without help. They have been dropped and taken all over and still are working great. We change the batteries every few weeks, it just requires 2. Great buy.

This item was a birthday gift for a child. A week or so after he received it, it started having problems. When it is powered on, it comes on for a second, then goes completely black. They put brand new batteries in it twice, but it still does the same thing. This is very upsetting because the child located this item on another website but I wouldn't purchase it there. I thought it would be safer to purchase through Amazon. I'm very upset that the child was disappointed on his birthday and also that the amount I spent was wasted.

Bought 2 and one Broke after 2 months even tho my kids take great care of the them. They are 9 and 11 and they okay then on bus. Changed batteries but nothing.
