I was lucky enough to see this group LIVE in Oslo, Norway 10.11.1991. ONE of the GREAT groups in History, and a GREAT collection here of some their amazing live conserts!

Phoenix concert for the first time in LP but years ago I saw the entire show in bluray presentation.

Always a five star. Bought as a keepsake, so this set will not be played. A legendary band of the seventies. ELP were always at their best when playing live. A pity we will not see them play together again unless, tickets are available at the gates.!

Have to say I would not have purchased this unless the price had halved since it was released. I opted for the vinyl version. Much of this has been issued before in one form or another, including the excerpts from the Montreal show (sans the dramatic 'Pirates'). However, now I have it, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The IoW version of 'Pictures' is great and equivalent in ambience to the classic Newcastle show, in my humble opinion. Also love the Albert Hall show which I had on video before. Lovely presentation in the vinyl box set.

I finally got a copy of Out of This World. What a great and appropriate title. I had heard their Isle of Wight show and it sounded kind of raw to me. The CD of the Isle show in this set is worlds apart from what I had heard- sounds great. These shows are remastered to perfection. The dynamics of ELP sounds front and center inn this set. I saw ELP a few times. Emerson is probably the only musician who could be up there with Zappa and really no surprise that the Nice recorded Lumpy Gravy. Greg Lake is one of the greatest voices ever and Palmer is superb- no other like him. Palmer's solo stuff is fabulous. I reviewed the Keith Emerson tribute show-it's tremendous. Anyway, back to Out of This World- it really is so! ELP made an immediate impact on prog and rock and there impact shines brightly on this set. Get us some more live ELP!

En mycket bra bra 10 Lp-box med ELP, pressningen av skivorna är mkt bra, rena och inga "hairlines".Mycket prisvärd, köpte min för 880 kr på Amazon, ett kap.Ljudkvalitén är mycket bra förutom på album 1 (Isle of Wight) som gränsar till en bättre bootleg, övriga volymer är ljudet mycket bra.Litet minus finns och det är häftet som kunde ha mindre bilder och mer text, men man kan inte få allt här i världen.
