AlexapurePro Stainless Steel Water Filtration System - 200 Gallon Capacity

We have had this operating now for 10 weeks. So far it has been fabulous. My kids prefer this water over all bottled water as does my husband, and he’s pretty picky. I feel good saving lots of plastic water bottles from a landfill, saving money and serving my family the best quality water, living water free of pesticides and fluoride.As others stated, it is easy to set up. The flow rate was totally fine the first time we used it, I have been refilling the top on average twice a day, and refrigerating water in pitchers. The filter is still working great. I have bought a few back up filters on sale so have them ready when we need them.The one thing I would tell you is to be careful not to fill the top too high, even 1 inch from the top can be too high if water is above the spigot in the canister below. The best rule of thumb is to replace the amount you are taking out as you draw it.UPDATE: We have had this working a year now and it is a staple for all of us. I had to replace the filter once since we owned it. A few things to note. I had wanted to place this on my kitchen counter and it slightly blocks the full extension of the overhead cabinets being fully open. Ideal spot is out of the range of overhead cabinets. It’s about an inch too tall. The water tastes as great as ever. We are very pleased with this investment and have on hand backup filters which I get on sale to stock up. When we went on vacation we followed the advice of the company and took the filter out and put it in a ziplock bag, double bagged, with water to keep it wet since we were gone for a full week. When we got home we popped it back in and the filter performed as normal with no problems whatsoever. I love this unit for the price. It looks nice. I have heard the spigot can go and it is also easy to replace. So far so good!!

This product ALEXAPURE IS PERFECT. LOL I READ AND SAW ALL TESTIMONIES ABOUT ALEXA ,,I GAVE IT A TRY. ,, I AM SO 100% satisfied with it. The stainless steal. Is of 100% high quality. It doesn’t stain inside or out , if you don’t clean the filter it will acumulate water mud or let say contaminants. I cleaned mines after 2 months of usage Clear tasty and wonderful water ,I did test the water and . May I say perfectoooo. Only one filter with the Alexa pure and it filter water in 2 hours oh yes I have tested all the components of this great Alexa pure. System and I wouldn’t want no other filter in my home. ,, it’s so economic it beats all other in this catagory gravity filtering system , Humans that have bought this filtering system and didn’t follow the instructions or see the YouTube video s And read deeply the positive testimonies will fail and say negative things about alexapure ,,, ignorant s in many ways they will fail ,and lol a 10 year old child can do it s Assembly and maintainense ,, it might sound freakish but you get to love this alexapure and company ,, when you realize the. I know that I don't get enough water and I am chronically dehydrated. My tap water is heavily chlorinated, which negatively impacts thyroid function. I usually leave water sit overnight before drinking. I tried Zero Water. I liked the taste, but went through filters quickly...about 3 a year. They are pricey. Several years ago I looked into Berkey but found they would not/could not ship to California, where I live. :-(I recently heard about the Alexapure Pro and did some research. It sounded good to me!!!! I got it.It arrived quickly. The top chamber is nested upside down in the lower chamber, so the package is not so big. It assembled quickly and easily. I ran 4 loads of water thru the filter to clean it out...the instructions say 2, but others said more would be better. I'm not sure how long that took since I would top off the upper chamber and go do somethng else, returning later to drain the lower. Repeat, repeat, repeat.I now have it sitting on a counter top and use it regularly. My water consumption is way up. I have not had any leakage around the spigot that some have reported. As I use water, I replace water in the upper chamber. I would like there be less guesswork about how much water is in the lower chamber, so I am thinking about getting a replacement spigot with sightglass. Any thoughts?The flow rate is not superfast...I only have 1 filter...but as long as I keep topping off as I use, I will be fine. I am the only user. If you are providing water for a larger group, additional filters would be recommended.

What a mess! I get a message that it was delivered and i don't have it at the door. So i went to find it, maybe at the neighbors. Nope I'm mad call Amazon and they said they would message them. 30 minutes later I get a email saying it was still on the way just had wrong tracking #. Ok i get it. 1 hour later it showed up. Went to put it together, and no washers (gaskets). Now I'm mad. I bought the extra filter have about $500 in this thing. I email them and ask what size i need so i can just go get them at home depot. 5 mins they send the size in a email. Tried to make something work but it had a small drip. I emailed them and asked to please send washers. They said they would get a hold of the warehouse. We all know what that means, you aint gettin nothing. I found some that worked at tractor supply. 2 days later sent me a whole new spout assembly. I know this sounds bad, but with them on the ball with the customer service I think thats a win because it's lifetime warranty on this thing and now I feel assured that if something is wrong it will be taken care of. Btw it works awesome, water doesnt have that metal taste anymore. And for us we could've just used the 1 filter. But when i read the reveiws they said it was slow, but we haven't had that problem at all. For me its alot to spend but its worth it for the family knowing they're not drinking all the crap in water. After we have had it for a while we wanted to let you know you don't need to but the second filter. I would just buy it and see before you buy the second one
