Is this golf ball biodegradable?

It's a regular golf ball. So plastic. Make sure you fill your divots if you're worried about the earth, this ball won't save the environment for you.

On the box it says that they are made in China. I've played with pretty much every ball out there....from ProV1s and all the Bridgestones. I find these .41 cent balls to fly as straight and have less spin....resulting in greater roll-out. They are $5.00 for a box of 12 at Walmart and just may be the best kept secret when it comes to balls for amateurs. They don't sound like hitting a rock at contact but are not as workable as the high-end balls. I had a friend in NC try them last week and he was surprised at how straight they flew too. I putt with them and they don't have that "hard" feel when making contact. I went to Walmart last week and purchased five boxes...should keep me going for a couple of years.
