Item was a little darker than pictured

So poorly made! The material is a weird, cheap, foam covered cloth. As evidenced here, not even well glued. I ordered a medium, the smallest size available, and it is at least 1" to large for my large head. As I walk the weight of the plastic brim pulls the hat forward over my eyes. And that is before I attach the starwars pin, which did not help at all. Because it is is pressed into this oval-ish shape (from packaging I presume) even on my head it had slight points over my ears. I definitely say pass on this hat.

Rather than a "cotton blend" it is like foam. The cap is plastic that broke off after two days due to the terrible adhesive. The pin is the only good thing that came out of it, because it is actually metal, and can be used in other places.

Terrible quality control. Glue all over cap brim and glued with barely any attention to symmetry. Will have some fixing to do before Halloween. Adult medium is smaller than expected. May want to order up. Hard plastic inside forehead, will have to felt it for kids sake.

Bought this hat for my son who would like to have a gray first order officer hat. What I received is a very cheap flimsy foam black hat with glue on the visor. It comes with a bad knock off design pin to put on this generic foam hat. To return you have to pay to send it back and the fine print basically says you get screwed. STAY AWAY from this seller and product. I am mad that amazon doesn’t fix this problem. Restocking fees for crap products that are not advertised correctly. Total bullsh@t!!

Very poor quality. Neoprene like fabric and the plastic brim is very painful. Not good for cosplay at all. The enamel pin that comes with it is very nice though.
