Our little corgi had a Napoleon complex and decided he would try to pull us around on the leash. However, when we got this, he stopped.It’s a sturdy material, and doesn’t slip too hard where he might get injured. As soon as he stops, pulling, it releases his neck. I like this much better than anything that would actually poke into his neck.It’s definitely worth purchasing, especially if your dog pulls on you constantly.

Great lead. I purchased it for my pit bull puppy as she’s learning leash manners. I love how easy it is to slip on and off. And I like that the leather tag holds the lead in place well.I ordered the pink one and it gets dirty but it’s easy to clean. It’s a good thickness.

The media could not be loaded. This leash is very well made, good smooth materials that are super sturdy and well made. Light weight enough that it feels like a feather in your bad and isn’t putting weight on my smallest dog. Does not fall loose if the dog gets away. Neck loop stays snug but not too tight. Definitely recommend.

Nice quality and sturdy slip lead. I like that it has a stopper so it won’t loosen up on its own. It isn’t a wide as I would have liked but overall it works well and looks great.

Great leash

I recently purchased this MayPaw Slip Lead Control Reflective Leash with high hopes, and my initial impression was quite positive. The thickness of the leash felt substantial, and the reflective material definitely adds a layer of safety for night walks. As someone looking to train my dog to stop pulling on the leash, I was optimistic that this would be the solution I needed. My dog tends to pull with noticeable tension but isn’t completely dragging me along. He still responds somewhat to my direction, pausing when I stop walking – a behavior I appreciate.While the overall quality of the product seemed promising, I did notice that the lead had a bit of a rough texture. I tried not to focus on this too much, as I was eager to put it to use during our walks. During the walk, I felt slight pain on my hand from my dog pulling every now and then. The leash for pulling did hold up well, and I appreciated how the proper attachment method – positioning the collar high on the neck, just behind the ears – helped reduce some pulling.The ultimate test was when my dog spotted another dog. In an instant, he started pulling with all his might, and the leash slipped through my hand, resulting in a painful rope burn.To make matters worse, my dog’s excitement didn’t diminish when we were returning home, which only exacerbated the pain from the burn. I’ve realized that the roughness of the leash material was just too much for my hands, and while I appreciate that it might work well for someone with calloused or tougher skin or those who wear gloves, it just wasn’t the right fit for me.Despite its good construction and reflective features, I ended up returning the leash in favor of a softer alternative that didn’t cause discomfort during training. I deducted two stars because, ultimately, the harshness of the material proved unbearable for my needs.If you’re someone who doesn’t mind a rougher leash, doesn't have a dog that pulls, and prioritizes thickness and reflective qualities, this product may still be a good choice for you—especially given its fair price compared to other leashes I’ve tried. However, for those of us with more sensitive hands, I would recommend looking for something softer to ensure a more comfortable training experience.

Works great, slides easily, love the length... perfect for control yet giving the dog some room...

Very well made. I like that it's completely adjustable with a 'stop' that you can resize so you can make it the perfect size- used on 123lb dog and an 8lb dog - perfect.

Works so well and is holding up to chewing great.

Good for small dogs, works well on my shih tzu, but I have to put one of her legs through so she doesn't choke herself. I wouldn't use this for standard walks, only training sessions and as a last minute 'I need something to restrain my dog!'

It’s sturdy and thin and stays snug behind my dog’s ears, which is really good cause some slip leashes don’t stay snug and end up falling down on the dog’s neck.

The media could not be loaded. After researching and watching YouTube this lead is a game changer. This lead allows you to communicate with your dog. You need to learn how to use it. Plenty of youtube videos out there. My dog used to think house rules only applied in the house, now I'm showing him who the pack leader is outdoors. Our dog reacts to big dogs now with this lead I will show him some manners. Make sure you have treats handy. Pull when they're naughty, wait and reward when they're good it's simple.

Only thing I can say is that is a bit stretchy so it’s harder to correct a big dog or pull her away from sthg
