I think Heritage Style is my favourite Selina Lake book to date! It features beautiful real homes, impeccably styled. There are lots of ideas and examples of antique and vintage pieces being given a contemporary twist. I especially love the use of colour and prints throughout, it feels thoroughly modern and yet comforting and homely all at once. The images by Rachel Whiting are gorgeous too. As the strap line says, it is a fresh new take on traditional design. In short it’s a treasure trove of delights, beautifully curated homes full of stories and charming details. Brilliant tips on blending the old with the new, delicious colour palettes and lovely architectural details on every page.

Such a beautiful book. Page after page of inspirational ideas, that gave me loads of ideas on what I can do with my own Victorian property. This book has a very calming feel to it and makes a great coffee table book. Definitely inspired me to get the paint brushes out and freshen up the house. Also love the small finishing touches that can really complete the look of the room. It’s those finishing touches that Selina Lake is so good at in all her books. Definitely a book to add to my collection. Love it!

I thought this book would give me ideas for my heirloom pieces, but since when does old tat count as heritage. The book was returned.

This book gave me a lovely calm feeling. Simple classic interiors that are beautiful in an understated and pared down way. Antique and handmade pieces mixed with a few contemporary pieces makes the style very homely and relaxed. Lots of inspiration and ideas to give your home soul.

I have all Selena Lakes books, her books are amazing.

I love Selina Lake's books, I have most of them and I love this one! It is spot on with my personal taste of vintage with modern elements. If you are a fan of her designing or want a great interiors book, you should add this to your collection.

This is no exception. All of her books, lots of images, English style, many items, gallery walls, lots of stuff, I like lots of stuff and am a visual individual. I have read other reviews, well I have all of her books, says something.Nice hardcover, comes clean and wrapped, heavy weight paper, clean no smell nice size and keep on shelf or coffee table to pick up when you wish some eye candy or inspiration for sure lots of images
