QAD Exodus Broadhead with Deep Six (Pack of 3), Black, 100 Grain

These broadheads have never failed me, they do the job every time and also fly like fieldpoints (if your bow is tuned properly :)This particular model is for DEEP SIX and not your standard insert, they do make these in standard as well.

If you buy these but don't shoot arrows with deep six inserts, you should give yourself one star instead of these broadheads. They say in the name that they are for deep six inserts. O took a frontal shot on a cow elk with these heads on easton injexion fmj's and I got a complete pass through, exit behind the ribs. And the broadhead came out as good as new after a quick rinse.

The ad does say “for deep six inserts”. For those of us not in-the-know, that means that these will not fit your “old standard” arrow inserts. The thread pitch is finer and pitch diameter is smaller. My fault for not knowing? Ad should include DOES NOT FIT OLDER STD ARROW INSERTS. Now that there are two types floating around, they should just say 10-24tpi or 8-32tpi

I was disappointed with these. I’ve been shooting standard exodus heads for 3 yrs and have had nothing but good luck with them. Not sure if it’s fact that these are deep 6 or if the quality level has fallen off. One of the heads will not spin true (tried in numerous shafts) and while all the ferrule tips are pointy and sharp the trailing “chisel” edges are rough and poorly finished.

read the package carefully it is Deep Six, had to buy different inserts.
