For no more than these cost, these speakers work fine. They have good clarity through the mid-range and high. Compared to the similiar priced Acoustic Audio AA321, the TS30 is outclassed. The AA321 is much easier to drive and plays a lot louder. Not that you should expect any decent bass from either pair but the AA321 edges out the TS30 on the lower end. The driver of the AA321 also seems better made, rubber surround vs the foam surround on the TS30. Where the TS30 excels though is in the included mounting bracket., better design vs the mounting system of the AA321. Had I not already had the AA321, the TS30 would have been good enough. These speakers and the AA321 should work great as height speakers , but not much else on their own.

They are cute right out of the package. However, the speaker wire insert tabs are not spring loaded and would not hold 12 AWG speaker wire. We had to return them.

For a pair of satellite speakers for under $25, I didn't expect much. These speakers certainly exceeded my expectations and then some. They are my sole speakers in my small office (9.5'x10.5') and offer plenty of clear sound for me and could handle much more, granted I don't blast my music. If you're searching for perfect quality sound at high volume then you will want to invest much more than $25 for a pair of speakers, but for everyone else these are great speakers.My four star rating is based on value/quality for cost. What sacrifice in quality there may be, it's made up for sure with the money I saved.
