Very nice
They are awesome. They make the exterior of my home look so much nicer. Generally we just have them set to a warm white light, but it is fun to create themes for holidays also.

Would recommend
These have been great. They held up through cold for the winter season in upper Midwest and are going strong. The glass/material that covers the light or that the light shines through kind of dulls the brightness with colors other than white/neutral lighting (so much so that I thought there was a film I was supposed to remove or something) - so that is my only critique of the light functionally. Installation was very easy. Connectivity is good. Good quality product, but just wish the price was a little less steep.

So far so good...
Overall I installed 15 lights in our front yard. It's been about 6 months and they've held up in the Florida heat and humidity. Install and setup was simple.

Philips-Hands Down The Best
Philips is definitely the best smart lighting on the residential market. Like Apple users always say, “They just work…” And they do. I currently have 68 hue lights and accessories on two hubs throughout my home with very few problems-if any.The Lily lights (5 of them) are no exception. They work well and serve my purpose-to light up my front garden area with accent colors.Will they light up Truist Park in Atlanta? No, but they give off plenty of light for accents like trees or flower beds, walls, and so forth. Could they be brighter? Yes, but for me there’s no need. The colors are in tradition with Hue. They are beautiful and stunning.I won’t lie. I have seen nicer colors with Lifx and even some Govee-BUT…and a big BUT….they rely on WiFi and eventually clog bandwidth if you keep adding their products…and many of their updates result in many firmware issues. Not to mention their build quality just isn’t at quite the level as Hue (well, Govee definitely isn’t up to par with Hue for sure).Things to definitely know: Like all Philips Hue lights, they work with Alexa, Google and YES!!! HomeKit (seamlessly). I love their integration into my HomeKit environment.In order to use Dynamic scenes they need to be updated (so don’t go freaking out like I did). Just update them manually in the app or let them update automatically. So don’t call or hunt Hue down. 2nd…only 40 watts can be handled by the included power pack..so 5 regular Lily’s maximum OR a combination of products-not to exceed the 40 watt threshold. You can buy the $89 (holy smokes-that’s expensive) power pack which handles significantly more wattage.Bottom line:Pros:Hue’s reliabilityWell builtGreat colors,Works with HomeKit (and other platforms)Easy to install and link together with the connectors and extension cables…so so simple.Uses the Zigbee protocol. No bandwith issues on your home WiFi.Cons:Super expensive-but so are all of Hue’s products.

High quality, bright colors
Just recently started adding some Philips Hue bulbs in our house and decided to go all in with the Philips Hue ecosystem.These lamps and the cables feel very high quality. I planned on just using them for holiday lights but may use them (and add more) for year round landscape lighting.The lights are great but the hub and app are really what make them shine. From the color settings, to the pre-installed themes, the ability to customize themes, the lighting effects (which they keep adding), and the automations, they do everything and you will feel good about spending a few extra dollars compared to other products.I'm a Philips Hue fan!

HUE = WIN!
Talk about lighting up the outside! These lights are easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. They’re so bright that they light up everything and more than I expected. They’re also easy to control, aim, and light exactly what you need. Hue has another win!

NOT made to withstand outdoor use!!!!
We have a large property and were seeking up-lighting to display the beauty of the trees and the home. We had a cheaper system made by Hampton Bay that lasted three years and that was through rough winters. We decided to “upgrade” to the Hue system and have been nothing but disappointed. My husband spent hours researching and installing the system ensuring everything was properly connected. It worked only for a few weeks before this power supply stopped working because of breaks and kinks in the wire. My husband was able to use some electrical tape to get it working again, which should not be the case for something so new. Shortly there after one of the spotlights stopped working completely out of the blue. It is a very soft malleable wire that seems to break easily. These have only been in since June & we have had nothing but trouble. This brand was touted as very high grade and I would not even call it up to snuff for residential use. I really feel disappointed and insulted that no one has contacted me from the company to try to make things right. I’ve had cheaper systems with better customer service and frankly much better products. Very disappointed overall and hope that someone will help us out with this and we warn others so they don’t waste their hard earned money in this tough economy. Shame on Phillips for selling sub equipment. I like to support USA companies, but this is really not acceptable. These products are not made to withstand the elements at all from my experience so far. I look forward to hearing from HUE about my situation. They have made it very difficult to rectify the situation and customer service is a huge portion of what creates customer loyalty.
