Would this take coconut oil build up from hair?

Yeah, the seller either LIED or misstated the “fragrance free” part on the Amazon page. I just purchased this due to the erroneous information, since I have allergies. The ninth ingredient listed on the label is “Fragrance (PARFUM)”. While not unpleasant, I detected a definite spearmint smell.

If you have allergic reactions to hair color then you need to perform a patch test. Simply dab mixed or pre mixed hair color onto skin behind your ear, or nape of neck wait 48 hrs and see if allergic reaction appears like itching, redness or swelling. If your reactions are that you are not coloring hair well then let me suggest. 1, shampoo hair with clarifying shampoo 48 hours prior to hair color. Do not shampoo on the same day as color unless the color is a tempoary or semi permanent color. Use a color that is caluculated for grey. If mixing your own color make sure to choose a color that has the letter N on it.
