THE WIKILEAKS FILES: THE WORLD ACCORDING TO US EMPIRE BY JULIAN ASSANGE was to me a very difficult book to read. In my humble opinion it was loaded with too many facts your head starts swimming,so I took a different approach to the book.I went to the index in the back of the book picked a topic and then went and read the pages noted. To me it was the easiest way to absorb the facts in the book. With no thought to political correctness Assange has used this book and the information he acquired, to tell the public about the US foreign policies. Not favoring a specific era ( or president) he laid it all out in one fell swoop.

This book is quite a thorough eye-opener on geopolitics. I have not been a believer in the US Mainstream Media for some time, but we all need alternative sources. This is a fairly comprehensive look at the relationship between the US and a number of other countries in recent years. Chapter by chapter, WikiLeaks source info combined with expert analysis provides real insight into actual US Policy and activities relating to all of these foreign countries, in contrast to the jive normally presented to the American public by the Mainstream Media.

It is extremely important for all of us to understand this empire we are a part of and what it is doing to the world. And to us. This collection of writings, based on government leaks published through Wikileaks, aids in such an understanding.Exposing war crimes is not a crime. It is necessary to true democracy and to and real "freedom" for people.

This is a carefully thought-out scholarly work. It provides a rare glimpse of the actual realities of the Empire. More importantly, it arms the readers with the ammunitions to confront the Empire and to transform the world. I pay special tribute to the authors for their restraint and objectivity in analyzing the files. I wish more and more people throughout the world would have the opportunity to read this book. Eye opening book.

Well, most people in the world already know all this information. It's America and it's white allies that are so brainwashed that needs wikileaks to unbrainwash themselves because their mainstream media has them completely brain-dead that they cannot even put 2 and 2 together to make 4. It's like their corporations have them blindfolded and can shove them in any direction against anyone who has resources, particularly oil. I say buy this book in bulk and give it to them whenever they start repeating their media propaganda. They definitely need some real education.

Very well organized and informative. Book arrived on time and comfortable to hold and open (for those who like to underline). It's a very good aid for intellectual discussion and getting a overall idea about how certain systems and bodies function.

This book was for my husband and he likes it very much. A lot of information that he has been curious about. Very glad I got it for him.
