This shower cap does tend to run on the small side so I would NOT recommend if you have a larger head or extremely long and thick hair as you may have trouble getting it over a bun. Otherwise the quality seems nice and it is waterproof.Update: After using this cap for a few months it developed a musty smell that didn't resolve after washing it so I had to throw it away.

I continually must replace my shower caps because the elastic loses its ability to do the job. This is the finest shower cap I have ever owned. The elastic is built right into the cap itself, meaning it's covered and not exposed. About a third of it is not elasticized, which allows you to put it on without struggling to get your head into it. It holds firmly but comfortably. The material is thick and strong, the opposite of flimsy. It took me years to find such an excellent shower cap. FYI, I cut off the decorative piece. I didn't need it.

I had no idea a shower cap could make me happy. I had no idea the wide flat headband would make it fit so well, would keep the moisture out so much better -- which is important if you've flat ironed your 4c hair to within an inch of it's life and want it to stay straight for more than a minute.I had no idea. I love it. It's silly. But I want to buy a few as Christmas gifts.

I had to return this... but if you're looking for a LARGE shower cap, this is the one you want! If you have a big head or a LOT of hair, get this one! Arrived on time and is super cute !

Looks cute, isn’t as smoothly sealing around the scalp as I would like water does seep in along edges

I saw a couple reviews indicating the shower cap wasn’t for adults. I took a chance and I absolutely love it. I’m a adult with med size head and shoulder length locks. I put my hair up in a pony tail and it works. Granted it’s my first day... but very good material thus far and super cute.

This is a really cute shower cap and it does what it’s supposed to. It fits really nicely even with my braids.One small thing: the part that supposed to tie comes undone at times because it not long enough to make a good knot.

This runs small, in my opinion. I can still use it, but I don't consider it large like description says. That being said, it''s super cute and kept most of my hair dry. The hair at the nape of my neck got a little wet because it wasn't completely covered due to the size issue.

Having locs past my shoulders it has always been a challenge to find a shower cap that is not pulled askew by my heavy hair piled on top of my head.The elastic in this is firm and secure and the cap keeps my heavy, long locs completely dry.This is an excellent buy that I have already recommended to friends and family

Whilst this is large enough to fit in long locks, it is completely unsuitable for use in the shower - my hair was soaked afterwards! I thought maybe it was a case that I did not tie it tight enough, however on my second attempt my hair was just as wet! The only time I can see this being useful is in the bath if you want to use it as a means of securing your hair out of the way. If you attend to use this as an actual shower cap, to fully immerse yourself under the shower head then DO NOT waste your money!! Have already ordered an alternative replacement.

Don’t underestimate I was able to fit all these braids (bum level) into this cap. Beautiful print aswell, nice quality I was pleasantly surprised.I highly recommend!

I have a weave which does not require regular washing like normal hair. So I need a shower cap to prevent it from getting wet. So far, I have been unable to find a shower cap that keeps my hair dry. I was really excited to try this as it seemed to be a good size and I could fit my hair inside with ease. I have just removed it after using the cap for the first time and my hair is soaking wet :( I'm so disappointed that it has not worked. It says in the description that it is waterproof. It's definitely not.

I bought this for the sole reason of it being advertised for people with long/thick hair. I have very long and thick hair myself, so I thought I'd buy one. The ones I've used are never big enough. I've used this one on multiple occasions now (and only just got to review) and for some reason, a patch on the top of my head still gets wet. No idea why. Bit annoying but it does fit all of my hair in unlike standard shower caps.
