Quality product - happy with purchase!
Have been using this for a few months now and it was a good choice for our business. Reliable, sturdy and easy to use. Handles respectable quantities of paper. Previously had a similar machine that after many good years of service, had some of its plastic parts fail. Therefore, we have some experience from which to base our strong review on. I don't recall how much it cost, but I know we are pleased with this comb binder!

Great for the office
I bought this for my accounting office. We bind a little over 1,600 returns each year. The machine is still running like new.

Saves hours over non-electric binders
As an educator, I've been binding instructional and student materials for years. This high-capacity binder is easy to use and saves me so much time, especially since the punchers have never been stuck in the machine when punching thick transparent covers. I have one at work and bought one for home. Its a little pricey compared to non-electric binders, but definitely worth the cost!

Doesn't power on...
It's very heavy, manual controls which are not easy to move, I don't know how well it punches since it will not power on at all. I will be returning it and will not purchase the same product again. I can not recommend this product for obvious reasons.PROS; It stands up for easy storage, however, you would have to remove the power source before you can store it upright. There is a storage drawer in the bottom which you can store combs in, but it would likely be easier just to keep them in the box. The fact that the comb seperator can be removed might be useful, but only if there are 2 people doing the job, which is not very likely. Comb lever is manual but very easy and smooth movementCONS; Very Heavy, no page guides, manual "wheel type" controls which are hard to move, Most of the controls are behind the top, when it's open, which it has to be when using it, they are not visible and not easy to reach. You would need to remove your pages, close the lid and make whatever change you needed to make... Bad design. The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired... You're better off just trying to figure it out on your own. I.E. the solution for the power not coming on was to put the power switch in the "on" position... or plug the power cord into an electrical outlet... Like I couldn't already figure that out...

It is so easy to use.
This machine is very easy to use. It has been used to make cookbooks. As soon as one section is punched it can be placed in the comb and when all sections have been placed in the comb the comb is closed and the book is finished!

Great if you generate and bind a lot of documents
A little pricey, but very sturdy and well made for its purpose. It's a real time saver compared to the manual machines and really gets the job done quickly and you can feed quite a few sheets with each batch that you punch. I am very happy with the purchase.

good binding system
This binding system has been a dream! Its ability to separate the binding part from the hole punch is great now we can separate the work and get much more done in a short time

Gets the job done, when it works
This is a fine machine, a good balance between a really nice one and a cheap one. For moderate use, it's perfect. Unfortunately, we've had two breakdowns. After about 1000 bindings, our first one broke irreparably. Fellowes was nice enough to replace it for us for free. After about another 1000 bindings, that one started to have an issue. My coworker and I disassembled the entire thing (no small task, this thing is surprisingly intricate on the inside) and found no issues, but on reassembling it worked fine. We'll see how long it lasts now!
