After upgrading firmware product through MilestonePod it is actually pretty good.
To start off I thought I'd give it a shot since I've been taking running pretty seriously the last 8 months. I've been wanting to get a cadence pod for a while but really couldn't justify the price. This was priced right and zwift on Android was a pretty interesting concept. To start off right out of the box this product is terrible I tried on two devices (Oneplus 5t and HTC 10) and it kept disconnecting every 30 seconds while trying to calibrate it. I was just about ready to return since it was a terrible experience but I did some quick searching online and found since it was created by Milestone there was another app out that you could update its firmware. The app was MilestonePod. I downloaded it and connected the zwift RunPod it downloaded the new firmware once connected. After the new firmware was updated which resolved the Low energy Bluetooth connection issues it worked as expected and also had saved the previous run that I didn't know is saved onboard. So I would say install the newest firmware from MilestonePod before using to get a much better result. I can't say how it works for iOS since I don't have any of those devices but for Android, I was rather surprised how well it worked after the update for live streaming data. Plus it connects to Strava and a few other apps in addition to zwift.

Great idea but does NOT work well.
I am a huge ZWIFT fan! I use the app for cycling and love how it makes indoor workouts fun. I definitely prefer to be out but when weather or darkness prevents outdoor workouts Zwift is the way to go. So, when I saw that they had a Run option, I ordered the RunPod.Unfortunately, it does not work well. I used an iPad Pro to set up the connection with the RunPod which was quite easy. I set up the iPad on the treadmill and began running. The signal picked up quickly and off I went through NYC. However, about 0.2 miles in the bluetooth connection was lost. I stopped and reset the app and was able to reconnect easily... but, again, the signal kept going in/out during the run.I love the idea but the RunPod needs to work better with the iPad.

Can't get through calibration. This sucks
I ride Zwift on my bike and I love it. So I thought I would get into running on the platform. I bought this RunPod since it says it works with it and its a Zwift branded product. It paired well with my iPad. For calibration, it has you set the treadmill at a certain speed and then run at three different speeds, 40 seconds each. I started at 6.5mph and then went from there. The 6.5mph run went fine. Then it told me to reduce the speed of the treadmill to 4.1mph. Did that. It made it through that, just fine. Then it said to set it to 5.9mph. Did that. Now here is where I have trouble. It either says "run at a steady pace" with a yellow exclamation, or it blinks at me "set treadmill to 5.9". It IS at 5.9, zwiftpod. What do you want me to do? So after getting that message, it returns a red "calibration error" message and the whole thing starts over, only to fail at the same spot.I've tried different starting speeds from 4.0mph all the way up to 7.0mph and it always fails third step. I'll bet I tried a dozen times to get it work. It's sad because I can't even use Zwift because of the calibration error, at least, not without a significant error in my speed and performance in the game. I am disappointed.EDIT: After contacting Zwift for help, I found out that the Zwift pod is made by Milestone (I already knew this) and that they have an app, Milestone Mobile. I downloaded this app and it provides a lot more functionality to the pod than Zwift does. One of those features is a firmware update. There is one to specifically address connective to bluetooth. I updated the firmware. I also found that I could enter my height and I could also calibrate distance based on a known distance. So, I ran a mile on the treadmill and compared it to what the pod said. In my case, it read low, so I updated the mileage and tried again. The second time, it was closer, but not perfect, so I did it again. Each time, the accuracy gets a bit better. Now I don't know this for sure because I haven't tested it sufficiently, but I wonder if the calibration I set for the pod will carry over to Zwift. Because if it will, I can skip their dismal calibration process and do it the Milestone way. Something to consider, especially if you've already bought one of these. For now, I'm bumping it up to 3 stars.

Easy to setup and pair with IOS, works as it should right out of the box.
This worked exactly as it should. It paired right out of the box via the Zwift app (I didn't need to go into IOS settings at all). When A/B-ing the distance with my Garmin forerunner (both via GPS and via a Garmin foot pod) the distance in Zwift matches the "real" distance from the watch, which is important. The price is right too, considering a lot of other options are twice as expensive for the same functionality. This was no-fuss, and I was up and Virtual Running in no time flat. Great for the treadmill!

Solid running pod AFTER calibrating
YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST CALIBRATE THIS POD USING ZWIFT! There’s a little settings button to the left of the “run speed” button on the connection screen. Follow the instructions to calibrate. This is a must if you want it to be accurate. This running pod works great. No connectivity issues so far after 3 runs. Very accurate after calibrating. Usually off by about .05 miles at the end of run, but I’ve yet to see a run pod do any better. And the price is fantastic!Zwift needs to make it a lot more clear that you need to calibrate it first, and how. They really barely mention it, and the calibration is vital to the function of the pod. Before calibrating, my distance was off by about 20%. My review would be 5 stars if Zwift made calibration more obvious.

Worthless, won't stay connected
Got the Zwift Runpod for Christmas, spent more time reconnecting then I did running. Searched forums, did the updates, contacted support, nothing fixed the very poor function of this Runpod. Initially easy setup but then freezes every 30 seconds. Froze 21 times on my first run and very run since then. After each freeze the speed returns inaccurate. Already sent back to Amazon. Don't waste your time or money on this product unless you want endless pauses and inaccurate data on you runs.
