Very clean, fine & nice orange color powder while some turmarics have black pepper kind of particles inside. No side effect after a day. (I usually try a spoonful of powder without mixing with something else for taste test. By doing that some turmeric powder seemed to cause mouse ulcer next day. Some turmeric product don't, so I know it's not about my allergic reaction to turmeric itself.) To compare with other turmeric products I've tried before, this is the mildest. I do not know if this is good point or not. I wish they put 'curcumin content' percentage on the package in the future even though it is low. I just want to know the fact so that I can adjust the intake amount. 1 Table spoon of this powder with plain milk kefir , banana, apple and Carson fish oil (this one doesn't have fish smell at all) was my breakfast this morning, nice taste. I did it because turmeric is fat-soluble.UPDATE : 6/28/2016After trying couple of other brands, I will purchase this brand again.I just wanted to compare this and that. One of other has a bit fish smell(I felt like the packaging people were handling fish before handling turmeric)and the other one has chemical smell (I guess it's from plastic package bag)Here is Amazon, some turmerics are real high quality and some are really not good.This brand is one of the good ones. I did not get any discount or gift from this company.

been using in rice alot lately. just out of the blue threw a tablespoon in my rice and later was pleasantly surprised.I use it mostly for pills and tea but the rice is gonna be on the menu for sure now. It really spruces up the rice.

Sorry for the dramatic headline. I have bought and have had tested 4 or 5 brands, and heavy metals seem to be an issue. NOT SO WITH TERRASOUL turmeric.So, here are the positives:1) Fresh (received early Feb 2023 and expires in 2025)2) organic, raw, non gmo, vegan3) the true color as it should be4) tastes fantastic5) 3-5% cucurmin according to T'soul6) absolutely tested for heavy metals and results available from T'soul7) a 1 lb bag should last several months8) may help with pain and inflammation (no personal anecdotes on that)9) Terrasoul is a trusted and well documented brandSo here are the negatives:1) still thinking.........For those of you worried about lead, arsenic ets, know that this is tested, and just like anything else you eat, don't overconsume. I use about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon on average a day, depending on what I'm cooking. I wouldn't suggest eating a cup a day. I would also suggest adding some black pepper to enhance absorption.I do NOT represent this company nor have I been induced to write this review. I just happen to love Terrasoul and their products.

This product dissolves really well, and also has a very clean taste to it.

I can't believe I was buying turmeric capsules when I could have been buying it loose like this all along. I made it into a tea with lemon every day when I was sick and barely made a dent in the amount. This is going to last a while and it seems like it is very high quality. Plus, it doesn't have fillers like the capsules.

Good but not cheap
