Looks amazing when assembled. Put the cold meats on middle layer, pate on the top the cheese on the lower tier on Christmas day, lifted it up to take to the table only to find the bottom tier had snapped in two.Sellers had no problem in refunding the item on return. It was a totally amazing looking centrepiece! Really smart.

Lovely slate cake stand. Very contemporary style and easy to have either 2 or 3 layers as required. Great for my hot chocolate bar.

Bought as present was well pleased, easy to assemble, dark slate colour looks really lovely, was worried I'd read reviews saying they were marked n wobbly but i loved it wish it was mine

Really pleased with mine for the money. Bought for cheeses and nibbles on Boxing Day to match some other slate servers I have. I think it’s cute and effective.

The slate is perfect but unfortunately the spindle’s holding them together are plastic. I turned the last spindle a couple of times and the handle snapped off. Seems daft having such flimsy spindles against such heavy lovely slate

Well made delivered promptly and very well packaged this was a gift for a friend who was thrilled with it.

The slate looks great. Biggest issue is the columns holding it all together aren’t very strong and not straight. OK for putting light items like sandwiches or cake on, but we used it for cheese and it didn’t seem very sturdy.Looks the business but I’m doubtful how long it will last.
