Even IF you choose to contract out and get help with your online marketing, this is a MUST READ so that you have a basic understanding of what should be done when marketing your business online. You will then have the knowledge to ask the right questions and call BS on anyone who is trying to charge you a premium and not delivering the goods. My measuring stick on business books these days is if I take away 1-2 great nuggets of info, I consider the time reading well spent. This book has nugget after nugget of solid info. While the book is not a do it yourself step-by-step guide, it does elaborate on the effective online marketing strategies that help small businesses cultivate a vital competitive edge.I bought this book after listening to Abdul at an interview. His experience in the online marketing industry has helped numerous businesses, primarily in the dental niche, propel their brand out of obscurity, and into a highly profitable end of the spectrum.The majority of businesses fail because of obscurity, a result of poor marketing. By picking up this book, you can learn a few powerful, yet cost-effective methods to dominate a business' online presence. One thing I would improve is the grammar. But after all, this book's purpose is to help business owners strengthen their bottom line, not their linguistics.

I picked up Adapt or Die this weekend and read through it is quickly as I could. I'll be going through it again so I can be sure I get all the info out of it. While Farooqi is concise on words and pages, the content is big on practical, actionable knowledge and real world solutions. I looked up the author and his website, he clearly knows his stuff and isn't just writing from theory or ideas... this is real world stuff he's implemented and built a successful marketing business with. I look forward to more from him and will definitely be putting his solutions into practice with my business.

Abdul has provided such great advice over the last year to help me grow my business, and the ideas, strategies, and techniques he shares in this great new book definitely take it to the next level. I am very grateful that Abdul is willing to share his expertise and teach business owners how to succeed in the new era we are in where buyers have more power than ever before, and businesses have been forced to change the way they market and sell. A great read full for practical advice and tactics from a guy who's been there and can speak from experience. I've read a bunch of marketing books for small biz owners, and many are just full of theory, but lack in substance. This book is chock full of applicable strategies and tactics for any small business owner, and I will be applying much of what I learned to my own business.If you're a business owner, or you work in marketing, or even if you work in the corporate world, there is wisdom and advice here that will benefit you and your business. I highly recommend this book.

This book is an absolute must have for any small business. This greatly-written book really opens your eyes on how much of an impact online marketing has on a small business in any market. It's a very easy read that is packed with so much useful information. I recommend this book to anyone that currently has a local business or is planning on opening one in the near future. It doesn't matter what type of business you have. Even if you run a large scale business, this book will definitely enhance your approach to local markets. Your business will be positively impacted by this book.

There are some great SEO techniques in this book. It's a very easy read and has some good insight. Anyone out there looking for a way to improve their online presence or just learn a little bit about online marketing should pick this up. For the price, you really can't beat the information in here. He should probably be selling it for way more but I'm glad he's not because this book has some serious gold nuggets in it! As SEO becomes more and more important, this book is going to be more and more important.
