Schoeps Colette Series Stereo Set, Includes 2x CMC6 Amplifiers, 2x MK4 Cardioid Capsules, 2x SG20 Microphone Mounts, 2x Windscreens

Description

Schoeps now offers pairs of its best-selling Colette Series microphones in sets. Each wooden box contains two microphones complete with selected matching capsules, SG 20 stand adapters, B 5 D windscreens, and CMC 6 analog microphone amplifiers. The portion of each stand adapter that holds the microphone is made of soft plastic, while the base is metal. The foam windscreens have an internal construction that makes them considerably more effective than typical windscreens of their size, while their surface treatment gives them a premium appearance. The MK4 microphone capsule is Schoeps' best-selling capsule. It offers the highest sound quality, a flat frequency response, optimal rejection of rear incident sound, and a directional pattern that remains consistent across the entire audio frequency range. In the diffuse sound field, it shows only a slight boost around 10 kHz; the sonic impression remains free of coloration even when sound arrives from all sides simultaneously. The sonic impression is free of coloration whether the sound arrives from the front or sides of the microphone, as well as for diffuse sound (reverberation) in a room. Classic cardioid. Suitable for the widest range of applications, whether as a spot microphone or for stereo recording with matching microphone arrays, ORTF or M/S. With consistent directionality across its entire frequency range. Often preferred for singing or speaking.
