Hammer + Axe Whiskey Barrel 1L, 800ml/27 fl oz Volume

The first thing I noticed was that it was smaller than I anticipated however the measurements are in the item description so that's my fault. It's very well crafted and simple but attractive. Intrustions and direction for connecting pieces and how to safely wash before you were very understandable and clear. We used it to dispense my husband's favorite whiskey. He absolutely loves it. It was easy to fill with the plastic funnel provided and dispensed liquid smoothly.

I used this as a prop, not for actual storage and it was perfect

As soon as we put liquid in it, it began leaking all over the table and running onto the floor. We noticed it was leaking from around the nozzle, so we tried adjusting it, but nothing worked. Ended up pouring the liquid out and not even using it.If you plan on buying this for decorative purposes only, it will be great but it is NOT a functional container. Do not recommend.

Barrel seem fair quality. However if you like myself are looking for something to add some age an flavor to some cheap whiskey. This ain't it. As others have stated, it has a plastic bag on the inside. This is a decoration mostly but could be used to dispense some wine or something. No good for whiskey

Very nice for just sitting around, don't put your liqu in it.

I read other reviews and saw "soapy' Wood ruin flavor, dollhouse size, way too small, leaks. So I was worried. But it said holds 27 ounces. It's GREAT!! No soap, funny tastes,and holds a 5th of whiskey. Only issue was spout had very slow drip at first but seems to have stopped, I did water rinse it first, water tasted fine. too small for beer, soda, wine, ( 27oz.) GREAT FOR mixers or shots. LOVE IT!

This little thing is so cute I want to get one for a few people now. I got it as decoration for an event, but I’m going to get a couple of more as gifts.

This is a great inexpensive addition to a home bar. Guaranteed to strike up a conversation. I have filled this with bourbon twice so far and it has not leaked. There is a bag inside the barrel so don’t think you are going to barrel age something you have at the house. The only downside I can see is the plastic spout. I’m unsure how long it will last but it works like it is supposed to for now.
