Measure twice cut once
This kit is great. Just cut to size, set everything up and you have the frame ready. The pieces have the rubber splines in them already so that's a bonus: just go buy the roll of mesh screen at your local hardware store or walmart where I got mine and you can once again have a functional window that lets air in while keeping flying critters out

Easy-to-make screens at a fraction of the cost
Used these to make screens for large windows in our house. Much cheaper than paying a company to make them. And very easy to do. I do recommend putting a stabilizer bar in the center of the screen if it is larger (ours was 48” long). Otherwise it will bow in. I have made five screens so far with these and plans to make more. Finally I can open my windows without worrying about getting bit by mosquitoes

Relatively simple to do, but needs better instructions
It works and looks great now in my window. That said, the instructions could have been much better. For example, it tells us to measure the size of our old screen. What if we did not have an old screen to begin with? Anyway, some trial and error is expected, and I did have to go back several times and saw down little pieces to get the frame to fit just perfectly.This comes with a spline as well, so don't waste your money buying a separate spline like I did. I do recommend this window frame overall.

Very well put together screen frame - easy to assemble & sturdy
Had to make a replacement screen for one of our larger windows. Very pleased with the quality, good value for the money. After some careful measurements, cut the sides / top / bottom to length and snapped it together in a couple minutes. Stretched the screen, spline fit well into the frame channel. Anticipate it will hold up for years to come.

Keeps the bugs out
It's pretty basic, but is sturdy after cut and screened. Nice, it came with the cord to hold screen. Best choice rather than getting one the wrong size. Happy I can open window without worry about insects getting in.
