I 1st bought a large thinking that is what i needed for my 5 month old Belgian Malinois and it was to big. Like i could fit my hand inside the caller. His neck was about 13 inches round. I made the mistake of not measuring it prior like they ask you to do. So i did not return the item. Instead i gave it to my 9 year old lab and it fit her perfectly. I went ahead and bought a medium for my Belgian and it fit him perfectly after i adjusted it. So if you have a 5 month old + around 12 inches around the neck or more. Medium is probably the best route to take. The flag is about to show. However i took the other part of that talks about mom or whatever. The leash i feel like could be little longer but overal it is also good enough for what its purpose is. So i hope this helps whoever needs it. Thanks for reading my review.....

This product, "Daganxi Tactical Dog Collar" is as advertised on seller's website.I purchased a large collar because my 7-month-old German Shepherd and Poodle mix (Shepadoodle) is currently larger than my previous 3-year-old Silver Hair German Shepherd and just as strong. Currently, even upon using the Velcro adjuster on the collar to make it as small as possible which covers up the Flag, and the Mama Says I'm Special decorative patches. This collar is still too big for Echo at this time. But it won't be for long.Meanwhile, a good jerk against the lease and ducking his head allows this collar to leave Echo's neck and rest below his ears. When this occurs, I can hear the sound of Velcro which is including in the collar to make size adjustments disconnecting.Although, the heavy metal buckle does not disengage, it moves and jams in the buckle due to my puppy's constant pulling during walks. As a result, it requires strong finger pressure and force to unfasten this buckle. When I don't have the strength in my fingers to unfasten this buckle, I just undo the Velcro to remove it, which I am sure will weaken the security of the collar at some point. Therefore, I have returned to my chain collar for now. hoping, once Echo stop dragging me during walks this collar might be great.I have tried the following: Prong Training Colors, Shock Collars, Gentle Leads, and choke collars but none of these have worked for Echo.

The collar and leash are well-made and I would recommend them. The tracking device that hooks to the collar would only do well if you have one dog and the other one will chew and pull on it any chance they get of course. I would recommend these very cool to not get yanked around with the expansion the elastic in the leash. Good luck with the fur balls !

Fantastic durable collar, all metal buckle, with a velcro backup. My 80lb. pit bull is VERY muscular, and he's not able stretch this collar. It holds him back very well. Patches are fun, but only gets 4 stars because the Patches are the correct width for the collar, but not the velcro, so they don't stay attached well. Overall though, for the price, I would definitely recommend!!

Annoying and bothered that it was the wrong size. It was a little too big and I don’t know that it’s returnable but other than that good job and it came fast.

I ordered this for my pit bull puppy. It’s a little big for her but this collar is very well made. Very soft on the inside. The leash is as well. Will buy again.

It is strong what I do not like is to much well crow to adjust for size.

Seems good for most dogs. Somehow my husky still managed to break it but I think unless you have a master escape artist of a dog, you should be fine
