This is a steel-boned corset, but with no steel busk in the front it will be more flexible (and comfortable) than a classic corset. As several others have stated the side zipper is a little awkward to get on & off, but worth it for the convenience of a zipper. It's flattering and effective even for those of that need a corset to actually hold things in and smooth areas out. The straps have elastic that is not shown in the pictures. While it's super uncool that they don't show an accurate picture of the back, the elastic is not deal breaker. I'm a 34 G and was a little nervous that the bust would be too small, but the elastic made it fit comfortably, with the mild support I expected. It is leagues above a cheap costume piece and the fabric is gorgeous. Overall, this corset is exactly what I expected for the price I paid.

I bought this to complete a costume for the Renaissance Faire coming up. Reviews indicated these run sm, I bought the xl & it still didn't fit especially tight around rib cage. Also the straps are not adjustable . If you are a size B Cup forget it, you need to be a C or larger to fill them out. Also I think these were made for a longer torso.

Bought this for a Mad Hatter Tea Party themed Ladies Weekend. It arrived with the underwire poking out in the cleavage. The armpit where the zipper is hurts and will rub you raw. I'm a large C/small D and ordered a large. The cord for the corset tie is freakishly long. I could only wear it for about an hour or two before I had to take it off.

I bought a 2xl based on waist/hip measurements and review recommendations to size up. When I received the corset, the zipper stuck and would not stay together as soon as I went to put it on. It wouldn't matter much if it had worked though, as the cups were huge. Anyone smaller than a C (maybe even D) will need a massively padded bra to fill it out.

I was expecting a problem with size and/or quality and really happy to report that neither was a problem! It fits true to their size chart and is surprisingly comfortable! The quality of the material far exceeds my expectations given the price, I honestly would have expected it to cost at least double what I paid. It does make you look snatched and will keep it up for hours if tied correctly. Highly recommended!

Was an okay piece. I wish I had gotten a bigger size - there really is barely any give to this corset. I wore it as part of a costume and had to keep readjusting all day.

This is so pretty for the price. I ordered the blue and the fabric is lovely. The fake leather piping on the bodice is kinda' cheesy but for the price it is just fine, and besides with as much push up as the cups give...no one will be looking at the piping. Back to the push up effect...the bra cups are flat and angled inward in order to create mounds (pun intended) of cleavage. If you want the cups to cover and be molded like bra cups this is not your corset. The zipper on the side is helpful in getting into the corset. The zipper tab sits at the top when fully zipped. When unzipped it will open completely like the zipper on a jacket. So to put it on, you would loosen the laces on the back, unzip the zipper, put it on, re-zip and tighten. Easy-peasy. Just like any corset, the waist measurement is the most important. With most corsets the waist measurement on the size chart is the measurement of the garment fully closed. For instance if you have a 33 inch waist measurement, and you order a corset with a 33 inch waist, it will measure 33 inches when the panels meet in the back. Once the panels meet in the back you can no longer tighten it further so that it reduces your waist, or conforms to your shape. This is where that 5 inch panel in the back comes in. If you take your actual waist measurement (be honest ladies, and actually measure) and you go down between 3 and 6 inches (depending on how much panel in the back, you would like to show, and how much room to tighten you would like) it will leave you room to tighten the corset and fit it to your frame. That being said, don't expect a full on waist training corset here, this one is pretty much just for show. Hope this helps someone

The breast cups are too high even with the elastic shoulder bands and the zipper is cheap and broke after wasting once.

So.. I like the texture, the print, it looks nice.But: at the back, on the shoulders straps, there are 2 elastic bands that are not shown in the pictures. That is not nice at all.Then, I bought a 3XL and I measure 114cm, my breat has no support and I feel it a little bit big on the upper part. On the waist area, support is great.I won't return it, as my husband likes it, but I will only use it in our bedroom :/

Lovely quality corset, ordered for a burlesque routineI am a uk size 16/18, 40G bra and measured the larger of the measurements for the 6XL (and am a couple of inches larger in the chest than the measurements of the corset), but decided to order the 6XL despite reading reviews that said it was small, and hope I could adjust it to fit as it was by far the best value one i could find. However i have to have it as tight as the corset will go in order to fit, and could possibly do with it tighter around the bust area.I have had to buy an extra bit of lace to help support and cover my boobs to make me less conscious as the cup coverage is rather limited, however for a more confident person (and maybe someone who isnt going to be upside down dancing in it), it would probably be ok as is.It is incredibly comfortable to wear, robust enough to hold everything still but soft enough to dance in (although slightly troublesome)I couldnt do the zip up myself due to the angle, however by threading a bit of long ribbon through the zip and using that to pull it up instead (and removing the ribbon once its fastened) has managed to solve that issue.The material is thick, and was complicated to sew the additional lace and a few bows onto however not impossible (and probably a lot easier for a better sewer).Perfect for what i wanted.

really lovely material and cut, looks great. In the past I have ordered this type of thing before and found it super small so I ordered 3XL, I am size 12/14 on top, 34DD - this is slightly big but with the laces I have the opportunity to pull it in to fit.

Doesn't fit properly over my breasts, even though I opted for the one which was supposed to fit my chest, which was larger in the bodice than I would have preferred. Although it looks okay from the front, side-on it pushes my breasts into a weird shape, almost like a wall sconce. I'm gutted as it's so pretty. I just can't wear it.
