Keg Insulator Sleeve (5 Gallon)

I bought four of these to use with sixtel (1/6 barrel) kegs and corny homebrew kegs. I used them recently at a party with four refrigerated kegs and they did a fine job of keeping the kegs cool for hours in an indoor setting. I left the kegs in the garage overnight and was surprised to find that the beer inside was still cool the next day. So they work better than I expected. My only gripe, and my reason for knocking off a star, is that they were a time-consuming pain to get on to the kegs. Hopefully they will be easier to put on in the future after multiple uses has stretched them out a bit.

Sleeve does work great. Really well insulated and keeps keg cool for extended period of time. A little hard to get over my Corny kegs so you have to pull really hard. But the smell....saw posts about the smell and the are totally correct. Washed 3 times and they smell awful. Every time I walk into my garage I smell them. But they work.

I use these to keep a keg heated and warm for hot water in an RV they work great, I use a 100 watt oil heater on a thermostat and have hot water whenever needed and this sleeve keeps the thermostat cycling less.

Fits tight

My PicoBrew Zymatic arrived with two kegs, but only one sleeve. The sleeve is necessary when brewing and cleaning, to keep the water warm. It installed easily and worked well. Not much more to say.

It doesn't fit a 1/6 barrel (5.16 gallon) keg. Maybe it fits a corny keg, I wouldn't know because that's not what I have. It's so tight I can't slide it onto the keg. It may work for you but be aware of it's limitations

Very low quality stitching. EXTREMELY difficult to put on the keg and the stitching gave way trying to get it off the keg.I realize that a keg parka is supposed to be tight, but if it is nearly impossible to get it on the keg, then its pretty useless.I am not going to bother returning these since its more trouble than its worth.Besides, these will be a reminder of the level of quality that the company is looking for.
