Amish Wedding Mild Pickled Okra 32 Ounces (Pack of 2)

These okra pickles are absolutely delicious and the best I've ever had. The flavor is light, refreshing, not overpowering, and absolutely perfect. I didn't really pay attention to the size of the jars when I ordered these, but the jars are HUGE.

I've tried other pickled okra brands, but prefer this one to all but one that I've ever had, and this one is priced more competitively. The shipping method was very adequate, so I did not have any issue with breakage or leakage, and delivery was prompt. The pickling strength is adequate, and not too strong, and the okra are not stringy nor mushy, so I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys this good southern dish. Can't even buy this stuff in the "big box" stores up here in NY, so thank goodness for Amazon.

Very flavorful. Of the 2 jars, I did have 4 pieces that were over-ripe and woody in texture. Otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars. Very, very mild flavor. A little on the sweet side with a nice vinegar bite.

I used to eat okra as a kid. Never had pickled okra before though. These are crunchy and taste great. My oncologist suggested I start eating them again, as well as fermented foods. Pickled okra fits the bill. Now I have a prescription and am completely addicted!
