This book has excellent advice for countering evil in our own lives and tearing down strongholds. Excellent scriptural references given. The Spirit is in this book.

The book was like a mirror to me. I am a Christian for quite some time and I formed my own pictures / opinions about many aspects of God's Word. I also had many questions about the practical application of Scriptural truths. In this book I found many answers in this regard. My picture about different heavens and what is currently prevailing in each and what can be expected in future was confirmed and groomed. It is only in the third heaven where there are unbroken peace and harmony. He mentioned that Satan is currently not confined to hell but is roaming freely through the universe with occasional visits to hell to converse with the satanic princes Death and Hades.Derek place much emphasis on the fact that to be a Christian is to be a soldier of the cross and we must be prepared for spiritual battle any time any place. We are to much on the defence while we are supposed to be on the offence so that unsaved people can be brought into God's kingdom.The chapter about "A Pre-Adamic World" was an eye opener and the most outstanding statement is that the Bible is not a condensed history of the universe but it is the history of a certain man named Adam and his descendants including Jesus who is the last Adam. The danger of pride and rebellion were clearly explained and it was noted that Satan don't have to change his tactics because they still work. I also learned that in Jesus, the Adamic race (me included) found the fulfilment of its purpose and that we are in an intelligent partnership with God. Chapter 11 regarding the Blood of the Lamb took my understanding about redemption, forgiveness of sins, cleansing, justification and sanctification to a higher level.This is a book full of teaching presented in a way that can be understand even by seekers. The explanations are well worded and easy to apply in a practical way. My review above only addresses some of the content and there is much more to explore.I will recommend the book everybody who want to learn more about heaven and creation. The book Is a powerful tool for the more serious Bible student and content can be used as basis for in-depth research. Francois

Derek Prince is a great author and man of God. I'm a graduate from Moody Bible Institute and took 2 semester of greek, theology, and various Bible classes. I was never prepared for spiritual warfare. The topic was literally covered in one class in systematic theology and concluded, demons are real but don't worry they don't do much and don't bother christians. So wrong! This book and his other book "They shall expel demons" is a must read for EVERY follower of Jesus Christ. I've been so blessed in finding deliverance from demons of lust and pornography. To the christian that is looking to thrive in their faith and be released from sinful strongholds read this book "War in Heaven" and "They shall expel demons", and listen to Derek Prince's sermons on deliverance. You will not find a better and more clear explanation of spiritual warfare.

God has brought me to another fork in my walk with Him. Through this man of God, Derek Prince, the Lord God Almighty has shown me where I have been and now, what I must decide to do to gone with Him.To tell someone that once you accept Jesus, all your problems will go away, is not the truth. Truly it will cost you every thing. I choose Jesus. Even though the walk gets more narrow as I go on with Him. I am committed to finish my race.I believe every Christian should that has any questions about their personal relationship with the Living God, should read this book slowly and reverently. Once read, the Holy Spirit will ask you the same question as He did me. Will you choose this day who you will serve?Great is our God greatly to be praised.

I choose to rate this book very high because weather you agree or disagree with Derek Prince on everything, if you read and apply his biblical principles you can change things In your life you never thought you could. He teaches principles of the Kingdon of God in a way that people can understand and practice them. He spent most of his life focused on helping people honor God by understanding His word well enough to actually do what the Word tells us to do.I recommend any of his books if you want to be different but find you just keep falling into the same old rut. Check out his book Overcoming Rejection. It is a book for everyone. It's very readable and a short read but it can be life changing.

I could not put this book down. This is an amazing biblical explanation on the gap theory believed by many Christians and biblical scholars, from Genesis 1:1 to 1:2. Tohu and Bohu are the original greek term that describe a desolateness a result of God's judgment. There are only 3 other parts in the bible that this term is used, and one is in Genesis 1:2. This is a brilliant work that clearly shows there was a prior existence before Genesis, and how and why Satan Fell. This book is power packed with eye opening revelations and understanding. Absolutely brilliant use of scripture that really feeds your Spirit. The Glory be all to God! And thank God for Derek Prince.

I just recently read "War in Heaven" and have to say it was better than I expected. Although some of theories that Derek Prince talks about are not directly supported by Scripture, I wouldn't say they are against Scripture either. The thing I enjoyed most about this book is how it illustrated our need to pray and stay alert in the battle. The practical suggestions in this book were very encouraging. I may be re-reading this one.

I preferred reading not fiction and the title is very intriguing and a subject I'm Keen on. Enjoyed the authors perspective.

An excellent explanation from the Bible of the powers of darkness controlling nations and ethnic groups to cause strife, and God's powerful angels ready to confront them. The War in Heaven will be brought to a conclusion in God's time, when Christ returns.

A great read, very humbling to read, obviously Dererk Prince, has a great understanding of the Bible, and God has greatly blessed his ministry.

I chose this rating because, like all Derek Prince books, it's easy to read and understand and apply its principles. Realizing the war in heaven was in mid-heaven was a revelation. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand the power of prayer and its effect in the heavenly places.

Derek Prince is an author i respect so much. This book will help christians prepare for battles ahead and re-iterate how much God loves us.
