ArtScroll Transliterated Linear Machzor: Yom Kippur

I absolutely love this Machzor, it's nice to have the transliterated to look at in case you get stuck reading the Hebrew. This has more pages of course than a regular Machzor (only by 200 or so) but that's to be expected with additional transliterated text. Before the service, I wrote down all the page numbers I would need to turn to to make sure I followed along correctly which was helpful. This Machzor is great, thanks! Loved having this for Yom Kippur.Additional note: I believe the hardcover version is regular sized and the paperback looks to be pocket-sized. Mine was hardback and regular size.

Hopefully I can find someone to gift this Machzor. It's way too small for our eyes =(

Can't beat hardcover!

I bought this by accident. It is not clear when you search on Amazon but there are a number of versions of this book. This version has the linear translation and transaliteration included which is fabulous if you really want to understand what it is you are saying. However, if you are looking for the standard Artscroll edition, it has the same name (confusingly) and is this product number 0899066771(paste it into the search bar or click on teh hyperlink below). It is currently unavailable which is probably why I ended up ordering the wrong version!Whichever version you chose, these are excellent resources both for teh day of Yom Kippur and for advance preparation.If you are concerned about teh expense, bear in mind that this is a book you will use every year - unlike most boks on my bookshelf which rarely get read more than once - it is therefore a great investment and may improve the quality of the time you spend praying!
