This is my new favorite dove soap. It has a very subtle scent and it’s more moisturizing than the sensitive bars I am used to. It isn’t irritating to my skin either — still very gentle.

Excellent quality and smell super

I only use Dove, because other soaps tend to dry my skin out. This one cleans well and moisturizes. It’s not my favorite scent, but it does a good job leaving my skin feeling soft.

Great soap for your skin and smells Devine

I needed a rich, moisturizing bar soap for winter. I have very dry skin, especially during our cold winters, and other soaps were drying my skin out even more. This is exactly what I needed! It's extremely rich, very lathering, and feels nourishing. A very luxurious feeling soap, feels expensive. It takes longer to rinse off because it has a lotion feel on the skin but wasn't difficult to rinse off and I wasn't left feeling greasy, gummy, or slick afterwards. My skin felt nourished and replenished. I don't use it in the summer as it's too heavy for hot whether, but November through March, it's the only soap I use. Nice large bar lathers well, has a silky, creamy texture and the bar lasts a long time. It has a subtle, clean scent but not overpowering. If you have dry skin, this is a great soap.

I've had problem with soap drying me skin for years (since my early 20s in the early 80s). I used to use glycerin soap before the liquid body soaps came out. Then a year ago i began trying different bar soaps to reduce my plastics use. I've tried about 10 different soaps some of them crazy expensive ($10+ a bar), many of them moisterizing (they still dried my skin) before trying dove which several friends had suggested. i put it off as i'd never had any luck with big brand name soaps. But that was a mistake as Dove soap cleans without drying out your skin. I don't like the soapy smell of regular dove and tried this shea butter version. I was a bit concerned it would be too smelly (i don't like strong smells and many give me headaches). But i needn't be. the smell of the shea butter is mild and much better than the soapy smell of the regular dove soap. The smell also rinses right off so i don't smell it lingering on my skin after washing. A great affordable soap that doesn't dry my skin or use plastics in it's packaging.
