GOODGROWLIES Vittles Vault Pet Food Travel-Tainer Kit, Pink

I bought this so that I could have food and bowls handy for when I take my puppy out with me, which is pretty much every time I go out. It's come in quite handy when go to outdoor restaurants or spend the day exploring. It's a pretty decent size, the clear plastic container is nice and sturdy, and the top and bottom bowls are held surprisingly in place with the removable handle. Right now my puppy is 17lbs, so this container holds about 4-5 servings of kibble. That'll probably decrease as she gets larger, but it'll still easily hold her over for a day trip. I keep this in her travel bag (I keep a tote bag with extra treats, a leash, baby wipes, poo bags, etc. for impromptu trips) and this is an excellent addition to that.

This is a nice addition to our traveling with our doggie item. The quality is good for the price. For my doggie this is a four in one easy take with water and food dishes. Its just a little to big for our 10lb dog but she manages. It has a big food containers with a lid which is great. My hubby puts her food in a baggie and then there is still plenty of room for her medications to go in the food container too.Just be gentle on the handle. I feel its strong but it has no flexibility and could break as you remove it or put it on. I hope they fix that issue. I feel it is the weakest part because it holds the bowls and food container together, as well as its the handle. I would buy another one as a gift! My husband saw it when it arrived and as I was debating with myself if it was to big, he grabbed it and said "This is great and there's room for her medications too". He used it on our last trip even though its pink and he dislikes anything I buy for HER in pink. He gives it 5 stars too. Oh and the pink color is so cute, just like pictured !!

Great container and bowl set! Perfect for traveling, hiking, biking or just for a ride in the car! We keep our puppy's Travel Tainer Bowl is in her little basket in our car with all gear, toys, water etc. Then I always have plenty of food for her when on the go, and the container is air tight so food will stay fresh! Plus having two bowls, one for water and one for food is ideal! And it all packs up nice and neatly when done feeding you dog! And the removable handle is easy to use and very sturdy. Doesn't feel like it's going to come apart when carrying it by handle, it's solid, put together very well. Love love LOVE this product! It is the perfect accessory!! And very handy!! Highly recommend! If you live taking your dog with you on car rides and on adventures...this product is a MUST!!!

Love the concept, and its great for a weekend away, but the container DEFINITELY does NOT hold 4 quarts! 4 quarts equals a gallon, but it is nowhere close to the size of a gallon milk jug! If it was the size advertised I would give a 5 star rating.

I have not actually used this product yet as we have not had an opportunity to travel (we will soon), but I can't imagine there being anything wrong. The design is very clever and useful. Everything is contained in one little carry container! Even my husband, who almost never comments on anything, was impressed and liked the item!I love that the bowls are right there on the top and bottom of the dogs food container. I can't tell you how many dogs bowls we have left at relatives houses!My only negative comment would be that this size container is more for food for a small dog use as it does not hold enough food for a larger dog, especially if you are going away for more than 5 days. I guess, if you were going away for only a few days, it would work for a large dog.

This was way bigger than what I expected. For a small dog it can store food for more than a week. I can see this as a better option for multiple dog owners or larger dogs. For my little 7lb havamalt it was just over kill. It's cool how the lids convert to feeding bowls. I wish they had a smaller size, but as is it didn't work for me. Would have given it five stars if they had a different size for smaller dogs.---9/9/14 UpdateA year later and I'm still with this travel set. Yes it's way too big for my small dog. However after many camping and road trips I found having something that can hold her food and treats all together and converted into feeding bowls is great! I use the main compartment to stuff sandwich size baggies filled with several kinds of treats and her meals. Even though the bowl is much too large for her food. I still use it to hold her smaller bowl in place. Keeping it from moving all over the place and tipping over and getting dirt in her food.So I now am sold on this. It helps keep all food organized and fresh. No more searching the bag for that treat I was sure I packed.

I ordered a stroller for my 5 pound Chihuahua & then saw this & wanted to get it as well so I can just pack some food & since it had the bowls on each side I was excited. It just arrived today & it is HUGE. twice the size of her normal bowls & it could fit like two weeks of food in it. I wish it was smaller as it would be so much better for her but it will do. It will be good to take to the park but I would never fill it with a quarter of food. If I went on vacation or a road trip then I would say it would be wonderful. It is however great if you have a bigger dog.

This product is definitely on the bigger side (it's the same height as my shortest book), but I have a miniature Australian Shepherd so the food would last her for at least two weeks! I could go camping or on a road-trip and not worry about whether she has enough food. Pretty impressive if you ask me. I know it's not practical in size if you only need it for one day but I'm a big fan of its ergonomics. I don't regret the purchase. The pink is also surprisingly cute and although I have yet to use it, the material seems durable. It does have a strong plastic odor when you first open it, which eventually goes away when you air it for a few days and hand-wash it. For the sake of owners with smaller pups (or even Great Dane owners) I hope the company really considers manufacturing various sizes!

Love this! We have medium sized dogs that don't eat a lot on the road and this was enough food for 3 days. The container is a great size, the bowls are durable and dishwasher safe...well, I've washed them in the dishwasher.The only thing that could have been better, and it's been mentioned previously, is that if the handle could be stored or clipped on while everything was apart it would be better. That little thing is easy to lose!But I recommend this to anyone who takes their dog on the road.

Good for short trips. For my 15lb dog, it can hold food that lasts for one week. The pink top and bottom are easily taken off to use as food and water bowls. There is another inner lid, and therefore, you can still keep the container sealed when using the pink bowls. Even if you lose the pink bowls, the container itself can still be used to carry food for trips. No bad smell when I first opened the package. Good and sturdy, thick plastic.

Very large, I could have used a slightly smaller size -- but it's perfect if you're going for a trip longer then one day as it will hold a couple days worth of food. The convenient bowls make it very easy to feed and water your dog no matter where you are. I often put food and treats in it for my dog when she spends the night away from us with friends.

Great concept. It is a lot biger than I expected. Fits a lot of food. I took this on a 2 day camping trip and I still had food left when I got home.

Excellent for travelers! All in one, two bowls for food and water and a closed container for the dry food! Ideal for owners that need to travel. Yes, I would recommend this product!
